How are you and your LO's?
MFD Xxx
sorry MFD, but it looks like i have exceeded my 'thanks' quota again.
how is the gorgeous boy doing???
we are okay. had a lovely train ride, LO slept all the way there and back, but she didnt' want to go to sleep this evening. she started rubbing her wyes at about 6pm but didn't go down until nearly 8.30pm.
she is still off her food in a way and i am probably a bad mum for doing it but after her bath i gave her some banana cookie crumble (jar) and she ate most of it and then had her milk. she is loving her milk at the minute. she did have weetabix for breakfast, but wasn't interested in lunch. i am thinking i might go back to what i did at the start of solids and give her lunch and dinner in the hope of it settlign her better for evenings.

Chris' cousin got a bag a few years ago, and he said its the best thing ever as he is no longer in constant pain !! They are really well hidden now anyway, has he asked about a tempory bag? Chris was offered one while the steroids would treat the bowel, but he said he would deal with it? Suppose it depends how bad the damage is.. ((hugs)) anywayThe two best things I have done with my life

angel - my childminder does a 4 week settling in period free of charge to gradually get LO used to being away from you. I feel the same - I want to go back to work but don't want to leave Caitlyn with anyone.
I went to see the childminder last week. She looks after Josh in the holidays so we keep in touch. When Caitlyns bum needed changing she got the mat out and just did it. She'll hold her as soon asI get there. She's really good but I still feel guilty.Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -

I think some babies just sleep more than others, but dont be worrying about it, babies do a lot of learning when asleep, all brain signal stuff !! Its a positive thing, we play all the time he is awake, so he is getting plenty of attention!!
And also, it soooooo wont last forever :rolleyes:The two best things I have done with my life

Not sure when I'm going back to work yet but will prob be around Feb. When should I start looking for a childminder peeps? Not sure when to start looking as not certain about when I'm going back yet.DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 19017/05/08 - Total on DMP: £10025.7007/05/14 - Total on DMP: £1666.20 DFD: July 2017!!Baby Tomos born 5th June 2009 - 6lb 5oz :jWeight Loss Target - to lose 60.8lb by NYE 2015 - 37.6lb TO GO0

My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »It's so tough isn't it? But I do think that if you are going back to work you need to start to leave LO for periods of time sooner rather than later. You know my friend with the little girl who just turned one? She left it until she went back to spend a day away from LO and it was an awful, awful wrench for the 2 of them. These things need to be gradual IMHO, I have always had one eye on the fact that I will go back to work and that Benjamin will be looked after by someone else and I have tried to make him as independant as possible with this in mind.
Your LO seems happy in the company of others for a while, you need to foster this whilst you can, even if it is just a full day with MIL
Sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday sh1te mate aren't I?
Don't answer that :rotfl:
i wont answer thatonly joking... fully understand that RL gets in the way
she's a funny cookie my LO. if she can see me, then it's all about me and she has to be with me (only then to jump off my lap and want to stand and twist around like nobody's business), even if dad is around who is the best thing since sliced bread. whereas if i leave the room she will be fine with whoever has her.
i know people woudl have her, but i just dont like to ask

im fine thanks MFD. OH is away for the weekend so 1st night on my own with bubs...other than in hospital. He's had a bath, feed and is now fast asleep like an angel. prob won't last as he slept loads today but wanted to make the most of a day with OH before he went away.
How r u?
x
Ooo - good luck for your first night alone. It might be that us mums do all the night work anyway but I find that baby knows that something is missing and acts differently.
But I am a firm believer in 'the more they sleep, the more they want to sleep' so fingers crossed for a good night for you.
We are good thank you, I can't believe how quickly my baby has grown!! He went to give me a kiss today, with a hand on each of my cheeks, and at the last moment was distracted by the TV (an advert!!) and left me hanging waiting for my smacker!!! I guess there will be lots of this in years to come :rotfl:Hi MFD! We're doing ok, still BFing I'm so pleased! She's still sleeping at night which is great. Just watching benidorm while she's asleep on me.
Sorry I have no chance of keeping up with you all, I'm lucky if I get to go to the toilet!
Yay for BF!! It's ace isn't it! It gets so much easier from here on in too!!
I never thought I would be still be feeding at 7 months but I have no intention of stopping anytime soon (he is so much less demanding these days anyway!)
You get used to holding your toilet requirements as a mum - especially now as Benjamin cires when I leave him for 10 seconds!! Proper tears as well, streaming down his face with a snotty nose!! Separation anxiety galore!!angelfairy wrote: »sorry MFD, but it looks like i have exceeded my 'thanks' quota again.
