Freak out question and TMI warning! When I went to the loo earlier this afternoon I passed a large lump of what looked like rotting meat from foof! Not a clot I don't think, though I've been passing a few of those too. Phoned my normal doc in a bit of a panic but he's on holiday for 2 weeks. His locum thinks it might be an infection as bleeding is heavier this week and more smelly than it has been, and has prescribed antibiotics to get me through the weekend and will see me on Monday if not better. Never had anything like this, and feeling decidedly unnerved by it (and quite grossed out too!) Not asking for medical advice as seeing doc on Monday anyway, but if this has happened to anyone else would feel less spooked!
I would go to the hospital anyway & say you are really worried and want it checked, not sure if it was the same thing, but my mum had to get a D &C after my sister as she kept getting infectionssearching_me wrote: »just called him there doing a "have a look see" to find out the problem he has chrones diease (think thats how you spell it) which he had under control but then his ex cheated on him gave him giaoherra and sped up the illness (id kill him if i got my hands on him) so now hes in hospital hes only seen his mum for amatter of 10mins and nobody else has bothered which has p!ssed me off no end ...... i hate when you know someone needs you and theres nothing you can do to helpi told him if he needs me even if just to cry he just needs to miss call me and i'll ring him right back x
Chrons is what my hubby has. Has he had any ops already? They would rarely take out soo much as to need a colostomy bag at a 1st op, normally remove the worst bit and steroid treatment for the rest, but I hope he is OK, its a horrible diseaseangela6834 wrote: »Hi everyone.
Can i just ask a question without being shot?
Can i ask what naps your LO's have during the day and if they sleep through. I know this sounds really daft to be complaining about but im getting worried about the amount of sleep Rose is having.
She is sleeping a full night, 11 or 12 hours. She then wakes and will normally have 2 hours awake and then she'll have a nap. She will normally sleep for 2 or 3 hours. She can then last another 2 hours awake then she will have another 2 or 3 hours. She is now having another nap about 5ish, this started as half an hour but tonight i had to wake her after 2 hours.
Im getting a bit worried that something is wrong and will ring HV on Monday but just wondered if this seems abnormal to you?
Mine sleeps like that !!
Dylan gets up at 7.45ish and is sleeping again at 9.30 till 12, then feeds and sleeps again usually about 2 - 4 then feeds and sleeps 5 - 7 and again 8 - 8.30 mhas supper, in bed for 9 and sleeps through the night !!The two best things I have done with my life

She is such a joy and would hate for anything to be wrong. Im probably being silly but its really starting to worry me and typically its a Friday when i'll worry all weekend x I will let you know on Monday what they say x
i think the bit that i have highlighted says it all, in that you are worried. bless that she is so good for you, but you shouldn't worry about asking. sleeping probs comes from both sides doesn't it, we all worry too much too little.
look forward to hearing from you on monday.0 -

Evening all... I'm in the middle of some major landscaping on FV, but thought I'd come say on here (because I don't want to do it on FB where work people can see) that I've just applied for a job at a place I can see from our living room window! Cross your fingers for me! (Sounds like a good job too!)
Izzy has a bit of a chesty cough - no temperature or anything, and she seems fine in herself, so I'm not too worried, but she has been waking herself up coughing the past few nights. Poor baby!Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

I've broken hubby's lappy
it fell off the arm of the chair and the bit you plug the charger into disappeared inside... Don't expect any long posts from me anytime soon!

i do want to go back to work in one sense as i like feeling productive and capable, whereas i dont feel this as a mum, but i cant bear the thought of being away from her. although, i know it will do her good to be away from me.
need to discuss childcare issues with hubby as we have a few options.

It's so tough isn't it? But I do think that if you are going back to work you need to start to leave LO for periods of time sooner rather than later. You know my friend with the little girl who just turned one? She left it until she went back to spend a day away from LO and it was an awful, awful wrench for the 2 of them. These things need to be gradual IMHO, I have always had one eye on the fact that I will go back to work and that Benjamin will be looked after by someone else and I have tried to make him as independant as possible with this in mind.
Your LO seems happy in the company of others for a while, you need to foster this whilst you can, even if it is just a full day with MIL
Sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday sh1te mate aren't I?
