well I'm shattered! What a week. Although for once I've managed to eat dinner before 7.30pm. I'm usually only beginning to cook at this time. It must be because DH is on a night out and not getting under my feet :D

Not much on TV to entertain me this evening so going to curl up with that cookery book again. I'm too tired to do anything really, but feel my evening is too precious to spend it sleeping in bed/doing absolutely nothing! ANyone else suffer from that?

Exactly the same here! OH is finally out to 'wet the babies head' - only 8 months late!
I know I should iron so I don't have to do it tomorrow - but an early night, glass of wine and a good book are sounding more tempting!

DD no.2 is fast asleep in her cot. DS and DD no.1 won't be far behind her.

DD no.1 is back from her school holiday looking incredibly scruffy - i'm sure her hair hasn't been brushed since Wednesday! And she seems to have left her voice behind and brought a squeaky/croaky one back with her. She also has big shadows under her eyes so I suspect not a lot of sleep has been going on!

Oh bless - those were the days!! I remember my school holidays like they were yesterday! I hope she had a wail of a time.

3 - hope your DH has a good night. I'm hoping mine isn't home too late as I normally get a wee lie in on a saturday morning to recover from the week - DH gives LO her breakfast and makes the kitchen look like a hurricane has been through it! Not much chance of that if he has a hangover though :D

right - I'm off to find the corkscrew :D

    *keels over in shock* :p:o

Quick, get him into looking after Jack before BIL arrives and distracts him! What's BIL like - going to be helpful, or a distraction? :o

BIL is a lazy b00ger at home but when he's here he will do the bin, load the dishwasher & stuff but it might not last long  him & oh love playing computer so it will probably be a distraction.

I'll be setting down some rules though so we all know where we stand right from the off. Am hoping his mate also gets a job there (there were 15 jobs but like 400 applicants!) cos then they will get a flat.

Annoyed cos I wanted to see how long my batch cooking lasted but will have another mouth to feed now. MIL going to give us food money until he gets first pay packet and then he can start paying board as well.

Might not be around for a few days now cos we have lots to do in the house like sort out the spare room, space in the kitchen etc.

If Sami or MM come on and I'm not around can someone (Elle??) tell them about my 'phone down the loo trauma' and ask them to text me so I have their numbers again?

SM - whats up with gay OH?
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
  • Hope everything is okay SM. You can use mobiles on most wards now so he will probably be able to text you and let you know what is going on.

Even with a car they wouldn't let you in at this time.

You need to sort out rules with DH befiore BIL arrives. Including what rent BIL is going to pay (even if it is just enough to cover food) so you don't find out later your hubby has just told him it is a tenner!
