When did you give birth nicki? Not meaning to scare you but I had the exact same thing about 7 days after having Keira teh blood got super minging smelling, I mean it was like ROTTING, and I would literally have a shower, be clean, and OH could smell it off me when I walked into the room. We'd have a nap together, we'd get up and pull the covers back and the stench was unreal. They had left placenta in me and I had to be hooked up to an IV for about 5 days, getting antibiotics. I only knew because one afternoon, I got the worst pain ever in my stomach, felt like what I imagine being stabbed repeatedly in the gut felt like.

If it gets super smelly, like so smelly you can smell it off yourself then please phone the NHS or go back to the maternity hospital, because honestly, the pain is worse than pushing a baby out your cooch,, and I had big clots of placenta falling out me.

Yikes! This is what I was worried about and sounds very similar to what's happening with me. I had him 2 weeks ago yesterday but the problems started about day 10 and have been getting worse, though CMWs weren't interested

OH has come back with 2 high strength antibiotics from doc and I'll see him on Monday if not better, or go back to hospital in meantime I suppose if it gets worse.

well I'm shattered! What a week. Although for once I've managed to eat dinner before 7.30pm. I'm usually only beginning to cook at this time. It must be because DH is on a night out and not getting under my feet :D

Not much on TV to entertain me this evening so going to curl up with that cookery book again. I'm too tired to do anything really, but feel my evening is too precious to spend it sleeping in bed/doing absolutely nothing! ANyone else suffer from that?

gosh your brave with the caffeine at this time of night SM. It's a running joke with my friends that caffeine does worse things to me than alcohol (I don't drink very much these days) and I can't drink the stuff after about 3pm otherwise I cannot sleep at all.

MFD, while you're on, I may have to tender for my self-employed work. But I have never written a tender, or read one or nuffink!

Are there any linkies with an easy template of what they need to contain? :D:A

There is no set way and no easy way Weezl but we have outlined the objectives for the roles (from the tender documents) and for each of those objectives identified our desired outcome (what we would like to acheive), our drivers (the things that we can do to work towards those outcomes) and our processes (how we will ensure that our drivers are actioned).

I would be happy to provide some diagramatical representations if you think it might be helpful? Alternatively I would be happy to have a quick squizz at any tender docs you might have (if you direct me to the nitty gritty bits!) and propose an approach.

Setting outcomes, drivers and establishing processes is part of what my actual job is!! But I do it for a group of companies normally. It should be easier doing it for yourself but somehow I find it easier to waffle b****cks about other people than I do myself (can anyone believe this of me )

    Helpful

Freak out question and TMI warning... Not asking for medical advice as seeing doc on Monday anyway, but if this has happened to anyone else would feel less spooked!

When I bled forever I was given emergency gynae clinic for an ultrasound to see if there was any placenta left. If you go, you will need a REALLY full bladder for them to see anything. I ended up sat there for an hour drinking shedloads of water (with boobies filling up because baby needed a feed!!).

    Hope everything is okay.

Edit - thanks for the prompt Fritha - I was going to go and find what I had missed. Alice is absolutely beautiful Susan xx
