He will be 6 months old in a week! The shaky thing is odd, and I really don't know how HV made the leap to it being related to food. It has happened three times, all while feeding (feeding is what he does most of the time!). He latches off, with eyes closed, and shakes. It is like a strong shiver, and lasts for about 30 seconds. No arms flinging everywhere, and not as voilent as I imagine a convulsion is, but much more prolonged and strong than a normal shiver. We'll be going for babyled weaning, and will start on sweet potato, then avocado, then whatever I'm eating. Won't be giving him very much until he is 12+ months.Tigsteroonie wrote: »Tia, am I missing something, or do I just have really robust nipples?
Expressing for six weeks now, haven't needed cream? Or is it needed if you're doing both BF and expressing
I've not needed cream, while EP'ing or while breastfeeding. I find a bit of milk is the best healer. I've got really sensitive nipples, and I'm suprised I've been okay while feeding. I can't touch them normally, and OH is never allowed near them. Makes me feel sick when they are touched, like really strong tickly reaction, but I'm alright with breastfeeding

I have to go into work
My boss is here for the day and probably wont be back down till Christmas, so I need to go in to discuss my date of return, holidays and the hours I want to return to. I am hoping to cut down full day every 2 weeks, so I would work 4 1/2 days one week then 3 1/2 days the next. Lets hope she agrees xx The two best things I have done with my life

ooh what biscuits are we having, i've just made a cuppa.
luckily having been stuck on me for half hr molly fell asleep, so she must be feeling poorly, jack was helpful and cleared the other sofa for me, she's currently lying on that, want her where i can see her and her bed isn't re-made from sick this morning yet.
a children's catalogue came through the post just in time to keep jack entertained for another half hr or so, i'm sure that boy is sorting out his birthday and xmas lists.
right quick sit for cuppa, then washing machine, kitchen and dinner to prepare whilst she sleeps, not sure how much i'll be able to do when she wakes.
i'm really tired today as well, struggled to get out of bed and could do without it. hoping we don't get it, i'm due to see a friend for the weekend.0 -
