Yes they are the NCMA contracts...I eventually found it in amongst all the print on the back of the contract, so I take it as I have cancelled with immediate effect there are no more financial obligations, other than to pay for the the hours she had them on Tuesday.

Thats right Mel just pay for the hours you have used her services for. Also let tax credits know of the change in childcare provider (mainly if the hours or cost is different) so you'll get your childcare element correct.

  • Well i can't keep up this pace either, so i'm just skimming through.

Agree with someone about Talk Talk being pants, i'm truely getting fed up with them and we've got 16m left on our contract.

Buttons, a friend applied for the fire srv today and got a letter back saying thanks but maybe next intake, apparently over 14,000 applied. I'm lucky my hubbie has a job!!

Searching are you TTC, sorry if i've missed that just too much too fast here. Sorry yr sad, the more you want the harder it is, bug hugs!! sorry couldn't find huggie smillie. Sorry just read its the injection, backtraced quickly.

Elle G, great news about Rys meds, hurray.

Weezl, just realised yr preggers, congrats, missed that one as well, you'l have a tight age gap too, the Tight Age Gap Club is growing, think SB is the smallest though.

ARGHHH i just can't catch up with this thread, its been less than 24 hrs, i click on pg 4, page 14 emerges at the end, pg 5 and pg 15 and so on.....

Susan i don't understand about the close pregnancies and Mrs T leaving thread, pls can you explain before i put my foot in something. thanks.

Glam if Jack isn't fussed about warm milk, i'd make life easy and take preboiled and cooled water bottles and add milk at the time, then bottles are fairly instant and easy to transport. Have you got a milk dispensar that does 3 bottles at a time?

Oh noooo yr up to 20 pgs i'm only on pg 6, c'mon guys over 20 pages in a day is ridculous.

Pls can someone tell me how i can link my pics from FB onto here, i know Bruno has done it so its poss, but i don't konw how, as people who i'm "not friends with" won't be able to see. Thanks

MFD, i can only recommend prune juice for any tummy bung up complaints or just even to keep them soft, easy to pass. My have had it from early age either in a syringe or in porridge or with fruit or a pruee on its own and now drinking juice from a cup. Going by tues jac's worked within half hr. he's not bunged up just withoulding (phase age thing) so with a bit of prune juice, he can't hold on and has to go..........(mummy beats him at his own game..).

Welcome Fitz congrat on birth of Holly, lovely name, if you purely want to bottle feed, just go with it, breasts will eventually dry up, you haven't beenn doing it long so should only take a few days to settle down, IMO only.

Hey guys please stop typing i'm on pg 10....let me catch up...

Off topic, kids now in bed and just realised its twilight here at 7.15pm, oh noooo....downhill till january.

Thanks goodness for bedtime i'm now on pg 15 and your guys are still on pg 20,i'm geting there. Carry on putting your kiddies to bed for another 20 mins pls.

Ok i'm pg 18 nearly there, please wait for me...

Blimey Glam i think your OH sees you coming, when i had a 2-3 week old and my OH was feeling crap in the middle of the night when sleep is paramount, i'd be expecting him to nursemaid himself, not me to do it for him. Other than that, make sure your medicine cupboard is fully stocked up and he doesn't rquire 24 asda runs.

Maybe to grandparents or family who don't give the reaction your hoping for, esp to younger people, is that having a baby means your having sex and they don't like to think of "their little baby" doing that. So their reaction is "ah your having sex, i know your 20 but now i know your doing it!!!". And they flip?? Just a thought.

Right i'm all caught up, finally, you can now talk now!!!:T

But wait one, i now need a wee....

another question: Has anyone seen any linkies online for how the tog rating of baby sleeping bags is determined? Ie is it by weight or type of material or what?

I've made fergie some out of this from Ikea:

But wondered if there was a way I could guesstimate the tog rating?

    TIA

  • 10/10 for ingenuity and for trying i'm sure Fergie will be pleased.

No idea on tog rating maybe weighing it for a regular gro bag on bathroom scales.

  • OK girls, I need to cry :(
I have just spent the last 40 mins on the phone with Inland Revenue. Apparently they are taking legal action against me for a £725.15 debt from tax year ending 2006 and I have never responded to them, so it is going to court on Monday.
I did reply to then in 2007 when they fist sent the letter, put a dispute in and got a 2nd letter saying it was £195 something and I paid that by cheque.
They have now told me that this was for tax year ending 2007 not the origional one of 2006, so it is still outstanding
I have been in tears for the last 30 mins, I dont think the poor guy on the phone knew what to say, so he put his supervisor on to me instead !!
They have now said that there is no record of them replying to my original dispute and because of this, they will postpone legal action and send out new dispute forms tomorrow for me to fill in and send back.

Thing is if it goes to court, as I have no extra money to pay it when on mat leave, I could lose my job as we have in our contracts that we will maintain a healthy credit score.
    I cant stop crying !!!!!

    so it works then guys?

Thanks, i thought people had to be "yr friend" to view.

    Nice to know.
  • 'oh MM, don't panic, if you have proof of responding surely it will be ok. you've been in contact with them so its not as iff your trying to deceive them. Can you get someone else in a calmer state to talk to them explain the situ. I bet they can tell who is trying to pull the wool and who isn't. Every problem is solveable, just takes time and a hell of a lot of patience, esp if your dealing with a diff person each time. HUGS

    Bailey, they are so cute!!

Weezl, im sure they'll be happy for you in time. As others have said, so long as you and OH are happy thats all that matters. Oh and us too!

MM, do you mind me being nosy and asking how much you paid to have your photos done? I would love some done for pressies for xmas and wondering how much i would be looking at for a sitting. There seems to be some huge variations on prices looking on the net.

SS, hope you managed to get sorted and have a lovely weekend.

Susan, thank you so much re avatar. She is so smiley x

Sorry MM just seen your newest post. Forgot that, you have enough on your plate. Can you not see if they can postpone any action till you're back at work and in a better financial position? Maybe call back tomorrow and try to speak to the same supervisor? Good luck x
