Hope you and LOs are all well?
Elle How did Rhys get on today
Any news I really must know about or has it just been chit chat??
Hey stranger! You okay?
All done under sedation. Think I found it more traumatic than he did, although he was alternating between sleeping and screaming this afternoon. Has now returned to cute smily Rhysy so all is well. He's guzzling milk for England so catching up well on his nine hours without food
In news, Caz has got moved and settled into her new houseUmmm... *thinking*

weight gain - we've found that since LO has started eating more and having less milk her weight gain has tailed off a little, but have been assured that's perfectly normal - particularly for girls
Particularly as she's a very active baby which has coincided with the change in fuel she's rolling/commando crawling/walking off what she eats faster than I can shovel it in!!!
RMAC - if you don't mind me asking, as you're my baby-twin - what is your typical daily feeding pattern? I sometimes feel that i'm feeding Violet all day long and wondering if its too much.
Normally, Milk, breakfast, milk, dinner, milk, tea, milk! Normally with 2ish hours between each?Nope, we've never been told to be any extra careful with sterilisingI was just reading the packaging of the food pots I bought the other day and it mentioned sterilising and I realised I'd not thought about that! Suppose I should do the bits that come into contact with milk, like the baby rice?
ETA: Need another steriliser tub!
It maybe different for you if there are any immune system issues - but I gave up sterilising when she was crawling and eating anything she could get her hands on, like my shoes and the dog!
Can't imagine how hard it must have been today! I'm bad enough when mine have routine jabs!
But, if it makes you feel any better, my friends 9 year old had to have a scan today (in a tunnel, but on her kidneys), where they injected her with dye, then put her into the tunnel to see how it travelled around her waterworks. Apparently, she had to be held down by mum and several nurses for the injection, then sedated for the tunnel! Poor mum was in a terrible state when I saw her!:beer:0 -

Oh Elle hope you've recovered it can't be nice seein your wee man go through that but I suppose what you've got to remember is there doing it for good reason and at least he is getting the proper care and attention he needs. (((((hugs))))))
I'm fine ta thanx for your FB. Just havin a quiet few days, I couldn't take my self on for chit chat but I'm back now to be a late nite chatterbox!!!Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070 -
And I forgot to say MFD my baby loves Chilli, and had pasta with tomato and chilli sauce the other night. (although she gets the childrens version, before I add the proper chilli for me & OH!).
Tonight she had toad in the hole, mash, carrots, sprouts & onion gravy. OH thinks i'm evil for feeding her sprouts - but she ate it all!
I fed Violet at a couple of weeks over 4 months - pretty much the same time the other two started. Mainly because she was very ready for it, but also to annoy the HV who told me that early weaning is incredibly wrong and causes billions of problems including bowel disorders! That was a new one on me, and i'm still to find any evidence in writing.
But, I think it must change all of the time. I was born 10lb 2oz, back in the day!, and Mum was advised to start weaning me at 6 weeks, as I was so big and needed more than milk!
(And although OH may disagree, there's nowt wrong with my bowels!) :rotfl::beer:0 -

She told me that 'they' had found that early weaned babes were found to have fatty arteries
Now I have to admit I do not beleive it for a second, as where does the fat come fromunless said babies were weaned straight onto cheese and meat

HI MOTM! glad to see your doing well, altho i hope DD1 feels better soon, and i got no idea how to block on facebook - infact, if u find out, could you divulge???
Elle - o glad Rhys is getting back to himself now. it never nice to hear them cry uncontrollably
Bruno -- if he didnt cheat, might he be reallyyyyyy bored!!!??? lol
Whoever was talking about the Diody cup -- where hte best place to buy? think it would be good for Katie. she is becoming less-inclined to her cups and enjoys drinking from her "big girls glass" but it irritates mummy, as more goes around the table, and katies clothes than in her mouth.
About food.....Katie was starting to get VERY fussy as i think i might have mentioned before. The changng the dinner to lunch and vice-versa didnt work so well. but now i have made OH abondon the tv and sit at the table at dinner time. we have also all been eating at the same time (i used to put katies out approx 1/2 hour before us; for the simple reason i didnt want her eating too much too close to bedtime, and also for the selfish reason i might possibly get to eat my dinner in peace)
BUT tonight, she ate stirfry with us. and has had almost a whole punnet of strawberries to herself since saturday. hopefully this is times changing.
My phone has given up hope and decided to stop working. After my car did the same on friday. waiting fr the next thing -- it happens in 3's, doesnt it!!???
Katie and I made banana fairy cakes today (which are quite nice!) and mummy made Soda Bread. Yet to taste it, but tomorrow morn is tasting time. fingers crossed.
using slow cooker tomorrow: can we have a vote as to what i should cook? I have a whole chicken, or braising steak? (I had braising steak at mums on sunday, although OH wasnt there) i cant decidee.......Carla-Farla!!
