thanks for the link about the head cooler. What an amazing discovery. I'm glad they were brave enough to try it with little ones we know and love :)

I think I'm going to meet JHA from the PG thread at a sling meet tomorrow in cardiff :T:T

only having teased Glam about it, I will need to take my pram as I'm walking an hour there and an hour back and I'm not good at those distances with the sling :o

Less of a :money:day for me tomorrow, but still not too bad: mum and baby group in the morning £1 and sling meet £1.25, and maybe a hot drink after all that walking!

Celebrity and Real () Mum of the Year comps and voting here..

Doubt Kerry Katona will be winning it this year! :o
lol I've just voted after getting the email. I'm thinking maybe Jade will be awarded post-humpously(sp?)
I didn't vote for her though. I reckon feely&you should be in the running for 'real' mum

    Oooohhh... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/bristol/8285577.stm :j

That's what they did to Rhys - clearly it's helped him somehow :D

MM, read the last few paragraphs of this - see, we're not the only ones ;)

I don't know if they cooled Chris, he was on a water bed but everything about his NICU days are so fuzzy. Wouldn't have helped him anyway, the damage could have happened anytime in the 9+ hours before he was born. Great stuff that it is helping, I wonder if they will start doing it routinely for babies born in stressful situations where oxygen deprivation is likely... Wonder how it works... ok, I want to work out how it works, oh it's triggering the biology geek in me!

    Oh that would be cool!!!

And on a practical note would be reassuring for the likes of me after each weigh in. :D

Do I have to go dig out red books now? actually I will, want to see how Ambertronic compares to her brothers.
