    Maddy went down at 7pm, I won't change her until 8am. She's in pampers size 3. X

Hmm. Maybe she is just a wet baby? She does feed 4-5 times in the night though so that will obviously make a fair bit of wee. I'm hoping the night feeds will get less but she is 10 weeks and always feeds at least every 2 hours even in the daytime.

skinty, dont know if it would work for you, but I am getting Dylan into my routine so when I go back to work I will still see him, and even though he gets tired at 6.30 ish, I let him have a nap til 7.30, then wake him by changing his bum, giving him a wash and some play time with me, then give him a bottle at 8 / 8.30 and in bed after that. Is working well at the minute as he then wakes at 7.30 which is the time I get up, but may not when he starts to sleep longer, but I will adapt as I need to !!

I could do that but if she is sleepy I prefer to go with her rhythm as we've had such trouble getting her to go off I don;t want to start waking her! OH seems OK with it, just said he will see her at weekends.

I think it's a shame for him but he also wants evenings to ourselves so he kind of has to choose I guess.

Was trying to work it out, flights, hotel, car hire, food, could get too much. Was thinking about seeing if Flybe have a new year sale! They usually do. :D

    Skinty, you must be shattered!

    :hello:

Just popping on briefly, apologies for not reading back. Visited Andrew early evening as his new Cpap routine has him hooked up during the afternoon; he's doing just fine, managing his 12-hour "off" sessions. No joy again with latching on though, really not interested today, too sleepy.

She is in Pampers Newborn size 2 but gets so wet she actually leaks everywhere if I leave her all night which makes me feel awful although she doesn;t seem to care.

Problem is she goes down so early - we changed her at 6pm tonight and will have to change her before 8am tomorrow obviously but it wakes her up totally and she cries :( so we have to settle her again.

Thinking we need to do it when we go up at 10.30 and hope it will get her through?
aah newborn nappies are rubbish for us, I put Ed in either huggies superdry or pampers baby dry, I think they do them in sz2 the huggies seam best for him. He was the same with the newborn ones, woke up soaked through  no problems so far *touches wood* with the others tho

Susan have you seen I worked out the difference until last weigh in it was approx 0.7kg between them all the way

Tara - not as much as I think I ought to be! I feed her lying down and she sleeps in our bed so all I do is roll over, whop the boob out, fall asleep, then wake later and put it away. It's not so bad really although I am super-starving all the time!

I tend ot nap with her in the day - she naps on me basically, and although I'd love to have a period of sleep of more than 90 mins, I'm confident it will happen at some point.

She is packing on weight - was born 6lbs 3 and is now 11lbs 4 at ten weeks - so it's all good for her and I'm sure it will settle.

At least she sleeps round the feeds so we don;t have night waking (except if we change the nappy). She is also happy and chatty in the day and hardly ever cries any more, mostly when she is tired and I missed the cues, so she's quite a pleasure to be with really. :)

well the food would be cheap enough cuz you can supermarket it with me and we can eat here :) Car hire would be £14 a day, and if the hotels are too expensive, there are a few really nice B & Bs that are really cheap off season if you want to come over before the new year. Just let me know and I can phone a few to price :)

I thought she'd have to have hte newborn ones cos that's the size that fits her? Is that not the case then? If so which ones could I get? I'd love her to be able to go through the night without a change really as it does distress her so much being woken.
