We had this similar one for DS1, and it lasted for DD1 too. I think i only got rid of it a couple of years ago when DD's legs wouldn't fit under the table any more.

I've just phoned a couple of nurserys to go and visit next week!

Jasmines was the same as that tia, only BRIGHT yellow padding at the back.

How about this one if you want a 'normal' highchair feelie

Saved to my favourites! Will put it on my Christmas list for I have been a very good girl this year!

I didn't know about them when Alice was in the Bumbo seat but when I saw they did them I was really pleased as I think it would be really useful. We put Alice in the Bumbo to "eat" when we went on holiday at nine months (and there wasn't a high chair) so a tray would have been really useful then. (We even talked about how good it would be if they made a tray and I bet they already had.)
They didn't make trays then :D I was thinking the same as you at the time, I think the trays only came out this year :)

What are you doing now - an excel spreadsheet?

I plotted my weights onto Alice's chart (or rather my copy of it) for comparison. At one point she was two months ahead of me by weight but ended up more or less the same at twelve months.
well I don't have excel but same thing, when I put it on google docs it 'lost' the graph though so I need to go on the laptop to make it with tthe bigger screen then I can show you. Now i want to go find my weight card to compare, I know mum has it in my baby book :)
Talking of weaning and chairs, anyone know where I can get a short high chair? We don't have a dining table, so I'm going to instil bad manners in LO from the start, and want a high chair in front of the sofa so we can all eat together.

I have the chicco polly (as linked by MM) I got it BNIB from ebay for £75 and I can confirm it does do to the correct height for sitting on the sofa while feeding LO. obviously I never did that because we ate all our meals at the table  ;)

That blooming table may have been a bargain £50 but we have eaten at it........ twice!

  • Hi everyone,
We got back from our trip around the UK last weekend..and it has taken me all this time to recover! Had a great time, but pretty tiring (although it was nice not to have to worry about cooking etc. all the time!)

Hugh went to see the doctor on Tuesday and he now weighs 14.5lb (well, 6.6kg, so I hope that I have done the conversion correctly!). He had another jab, so screamed the place down, but calmed down much more quickly this time...I think it is the shock that upsets him :o. He slept far more than normal the next day...and as a consequence only slept 7 hours at night instead of his usual 8 and a half (yes, I know...what am I complaining about!:p). But he has been bright enough today although seems to have developed a dislike for the vacuum cleaner...

Anyway, need to make dinner now...hope that all the poorly babies are better soon.
