I'm joining the poorly baby club. Although its really more a case of a very poorly mummy with a slightly poorly baby. We were up all night and she finally went to sleep at 4:40am only to wake again at 6am. We have been trying to catch up on our sleep today but she is struggling to sleep on her tummy because of her cough and she wont sleep on her back. I cradled her all night and I have to say I was crying at one point from exhaustion.
The main thing is that i'm still getting lots of smiles although i'm struggling to smile back right now!

Hiya everyone,
hope everyones well,
all is fine here! Jake had his induction at nursery today, he really enjoyed it, the teacher said he was the most confident in the class so far, and is really surprised he has never been to a nursery before cos he just got stuck in! he didnt even notice when she took me out to show me round the rest of the school, I will try n do a pic of him in his uniform, I feel very strange tho knowing he's not gonna be with me all day every day!!

Elle, my friend had one for her LO and from experience with DS2 when weaning (he couldn't sit in a high chair till over a year old because he fell to the side) I'd recommend one for Rhys.
Mooki, poor baby! Have you tried propping her up ether with a pillow (you can put it under the sheet or under the mattress) or a folded towel? Remember that a cough sounds bad but it's doing an important job.
AM, did I ever tell you that Ry-Ry has a super cool birthday? (cos it's also mine:D)
forgot what else I was going to say...
oh yeah, SS, send me over some of your magic boobie juice for Amber please!0 -

Spookily true. Ever wondered why we're never on at the same time ladies? In fact we are one and the same. By day I am mild mannered weezl, a dullish sewing housefrau from wales, but by night..... dun dah dah, I am MFD!!! Super-wise mummy

Bless him! Hopefully he's doing the separation anxiety bit now, so will be over it and absolutely fine when you have to go back to work.
We don't seem to have suffered yet - however, I wouldn't know because i've not bl00dy been anywhere!Does anyone have the play tray for a Bumbo? Is it worth it?
I think so. Ours came with one, and i've used it a lot, since she was first steady in it, until quite recently. It was good for weaning - i'd sit the bumbo up on our dining table so she could eat with us. And she was quite happy to sit in there bashing a stick-to-the-tray type toy.:beer:0
