We'll see what calorie-ladened mash does for him too! ;)

Speaking of high fat foods, is it okay to give Philidelphia to a 7mth old in mash and is it high fat? My mummy friend and I were talking about it earlier.. :)

I'd be wary! is there anyway you can get your pup checked over by your vet before you hand over all your money?
Its common for not all pups to survive but I don't see how a problem with back legs would cause a pup to die :undecided and I can't think of anything that would affect both unless it was just a weak puppy. How old are they now?
Only 9mths ish until I get a doggy!! :j(don't tell hubby :silenced:)
I've reserved the processor :D double voucher back if I get it before sunday :T
I think she had the pup put down.
She phone OH's cousin (who has a pup from her last litter) and told him to get his pup checked out.
    She put this on FB
She had a problem with her back legs & although we tried everything, she did improve loads but just not enough for to ever have quality of life. She was so beautiful, im gutted..xx
They are ready to collect next friday, so that makes them, what 8 weeks, sorry OH deals with it all not me, I want to ask her, but OH said leave it, i think he is just blinded by the pup.

Ed looks smaller than Dylan in your photos

You just get used to it, preparation for feeding is having a towel over me, one over the sofa a bib on him, and a muslin to mop up excess :rotfl:
is Dylan short? Ed is quite tall I think.
    ah its in the prep

they can leave mum at 6weeks but we used to keep ours until 8 weeks as will most breeders that aren't in it for the money x

Feely, I love the photoshopped pics of Toby, especially the God Father, or Toby Father as I think of it!

Elle, Rhys is heavier than Amber, she is 7lb6oz and is 8 weeks, does that make you feel better? ;)

MM, I will look later but if I get side tracked it's not my fault, I'm a compulsive shopper

Just about time to go get Michael if I can drag Christopher away from his crafting

We've been to Ikea and handed over five unwanted books to get our £5 voucher. (And OH did on his way past too.) :money: He was supposed to be registering for his Christmas job between 11.30 and 12.30 (you book an appointment) but they were all kept waiting for ages and he didn't get out till 2! OH is not sure whether it would be okay to go back to Ikea another day with more books for giftcards - what do other people think?

Also, if you take your toddler to Ikea, watch them with the tape measures. Alice got some nasty paper cuts.

Am I allowed a small 'bragging moment?' My little girl has been toddling around using her push along! All without me! I'm so proud and a bit scared that she's growing up so fast all at the same time! She's almost 8 months and I didn't think she'd quite be at this stage by now. All she wants to do is be on her feet scooting around with me or her push along although she hasn't worked out how to go sideways around the furniture - yet!!!
:T It's so funny when they can't steer. The first time Alice walked holding my hands she ended up with her feet under the tallboy. (I did learn to steer her myself but it was unexpected the first time so I was too astonished to be directing her.)

I had signed up for a cookery class and it started on tuesday. However, they overbooked and even though I was 20mins early for class I was the first to miss the cut off point and got turned away :( I was looking forward to having 2-3 hrs of 'me' time I actually cried about it when I got home :( Oh well. Trying to find something else instead - but they aren't other regular classes - only whole day, one-off classes. Oh well, that's life sometimes!
:grouphug: I would have been gutted too.
This weekend, I had to take 4 litres to my Mums as I ran out of space. I've got about 7 litres in total, and get about 150-300ml a day, when I pump. I'm scared of running out though.
I knwo what you mean. We've only got about 3 litres left and when I realised how little we have left (OH makes the porridge so he mainly gets it out) I felt a bit . I had to remind myself that she is nearly two and a half so if I dropped dead tomorrow, it wouldn't exactly create a feeding crisis.

ETA: I didn't actually brush Chris's teeth until he had 4 and didn't use paste until he had 8. pre-brush using I would just give them a polish with a muslin wrapped finger :)
We just used water at first too.
I didn't know there wa a 6 month bounty bag. Where do you get them from? I will have to investigate the website!
I got sent a voucher in the post.

    Scary stuff.
I can't shake my worry off about not having enough milk. It was such a battle, that I still worry I'll run out! I've got about 8 days worth, so if something happened to me, he could still have EBM until alternate arrangements were made. 4 litres is in 100ml containers, but the rest is in icecubes, so will be used for cereals, or in any cooking for LO that contains milk.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I used to think about what would happen if I died or if ended up in hospital unable to feed Alice for a period of time. I figured that if something happened then at least having a supply of breastmilk in the short term would mean that she would still have the benefits and she could have been switched over to formula gradually rather than a sudden change. At one point we had about 30 litres of the stuff in the freezer. :o
Sami, that is the food processor I have, and it is great. I don't use half the attachments though - I've never used it for chopping/grating stuff, although I'm sure I would if I was cooking for more people. My favourite bit is the beater attachment. When you make a cake you can just bung all the ingredients in and switch it on for a bit - much easier :)
The chopping/grating function is one of my favourite bits. Especially for grating carrots.

do you know what the model number is? my only concern is that it's not listed and I'm worried it's because it's not good (although I think it's fine as got loads of reveiws all but one are 4 or 5 out of 5)
If you looked at the food processors on Kenwood's website, you could probably work out which one it is.
Anyone know anything about carpets? Living room is a work in progress but getting there and I want carpet instead of the laminate we already have. How do you choose one for 2 children and a dog?
Multi coloured patterned with lots of browns in it.

Just thought I'd share a picture of LO in one of his Threadless vests that came this morning:
    Tobes.jpg
Thanks to who mentioned the sale, I'm really pleased! Glad I got size 12-18 months though, they fit him perfectly!

How much is his weight now?
Ry-ry is a respectable 18lb 4oz, he's dipped a tiny bit but still on the 75th centile, he's more long than chubby.
My friends 19 week old baby is 20lb 4oz! she is huge!

Have seen these which I think are the right ones but not sure and don't want to get the wrong one!
