LO seems settled at the minute. fingers crossed it stays that way. i have not put any blankets on her tonight. she has a sleepsuit and a short sleeved vest on. egg says it's 24C but i can't see how as it doesnt feel that warm in the bedroom. i normally have blankets on her but after reading a post on the old thread, i thought of trying it tonight and seeing what happens.

Do you not use sleeping bags???? I would go mad worrying about Benjamin with covers! They are the best invention ever (IMHO!!). Also good for signalling that it is time for a 'big sleep' :D

I gave in today and bought pajama (sp?) separates for Benjamin - he has outgrown 6-9 months sleepsuits but 9-12m are massive on him!
He looked like such a big boy in his PJs I had a tear in my eye! I tucked his PJ top into his bottoms to stop him getting a cold tummy, zipped him into his sleeping bag and (if the last 3 or 4 nights are anything to go by) that should be him until 6am...famous last words eh Fritha???

Welcome Fitzio - I haven't got to drying up stage yet so will be interested to see how it is done. I love the name Holly! Need piccies!!!! xxx

i agree sleeping bags are great, seth has been in one since 3 weeks old and they helped him sleep so much better from the first time! he always feels so warm and snuggly when i take him out, that i feel guilty for not leaving him in it!!

How did Rhys do in his sleeping bag?

Em - I saw people in Asda buying cot blankets today and I wanted to rip them out of their hands and shout 'Have you not heard of SLEEPING BAGS!!! Let me introduce you to your lifesaver'

Really likes it, I think.. Seemed to take to it well and, like Em said, gets so snuggly warm in it I feel guilty taking it off him in the morning!

Nearly put him in it earlier when he was grouchy but the Calpol did the trick :o
  • I need to get a new one. I had a lovely one that was up to 6 months and at 14 weeks my baby is too long for it !!! So I am now down to 2, but with Dylans reflux he is a little sick at night and they need washed every day, so a third one would make my life so much easier :)
