Caz - I think I have heard that about kids in larger families too:) When is your actual moving day?

Em - Glad Seth is getting better on the anti-bi's....Kai is all snotty today, I hope it doesn't become anything worse, that would be all I need, missing my first week of Uni!!

Although I may not get there tomorrow, I am a bit worried that I am going to get lost on the way!

weezl if you dont mind me asking why did you stop BF fergie? i dont remember you ever saying why :o

the antibiotics seem to be having an............ "effect" on seths digestive system, shall we just say rabbit poop is currently not an issue and leave it there!! he is on the mend, coughing up phlegm a bit now, poor love

I don't mind you asking, just a bit tricky to explain in a nutshell!

Basically for as long as I can remember my breasts have been extremely sensitive and uncomfortable to the touch. I can't directly wash them or touch them myself. Poor OH has never been allowed either! I wear a bra 24/7. I've even vomited once when one came slightly out of my bra in my sleep.

After Fergie I put him to the breast about 10 times with gritted teeth, determined to try for his sake, but I was so struggling that I would immediately unintentionally stiffen and push him away. The gas and air that got me through labour didn't help (the midwives knew and let me try it) He'd then cry, I'd cry.... DH joined in... :)

Tried a few breast pumps with my boob smeared in anaesthetic cream and dosed on paracetamol and codeine, but still couldn't do it.

Eventually DH said he thought it was better that I stopped because I wasn't functioning due to the pressure I was putting on myself.

Most MWs were very understanding, as was Kristal:A via PM.

One MW made me cry though, by saying 'It's not all about you anymore' Ouch.

So that was my (very long feeling) 2 and a half days of 'Breast feeding' :o

    Love Weezl xxx

PS Kristal, do you know if I could have the nerve endings cut to create complete numbness ready for baby 2?

Oh that's frustrating it wouldn't blend!
I used adult pasta(cos I thought baby pasta was a bit of a pricey gimmick!) Asda penne. But boiled it for twice as long until really quite sqidgy and then whizzed it and my HM cheese sauce in our food processor until it had lumps no bigger than he's used to (5mm at the mo!)

    Weezl's baby cheese sauce recipe:

    1 heaped tbspn marg/utterly butterly
1 and a half heaped tablespoons of flour
    full fat milk
    125g very mature cheddar, grated

put marg and flour in a pan over medium/low heat and and stir til all marg has melted and flour has mixed with it and it's a bit like play-doh. Then little by little add 1.5 pints ish of milk whisking/stirring til it's all smooth.

Then add the grated cheese whisking again.

Turn off heat. Stir through your overcooked pasta/baby pasta. Pulse in food mixer or mash with a potato masher until it's the consistency your baby likes :)

oooooooooo weezl you just reminded i wanna make my own baby food but havent got a clue ........ any advice??? x

probably the easiest thing would be to make things that you can all eat, but mash some up for Jayden before seasoning it (the all-purpose sadly contains sugar :( ) What kinda stuff does Zoe eat and can you mash those for him?

Other ideas might be make a batch of mac cheese or lentils or whatever and freeze them in little tubs, once you've done it a few times, bingo! he'll have quite a varied diet!

    Whatcha think, sound do-able? :)
