    Morning all :)

*hugs* to SS, MFD and keely.. and anyone else who wants one ;)

Rhys went 7hrs between bottles last night. Shame it was 8pm-3am.. Then did another four hours. Now we're snuggling one the sofa, he's warmer than I am!

Seeing a friend later. Just waiting to find out if she's coming to me (depends if the weather stays good enough to walk round as she doesn't drive) or I'm going there (will drive)... aka whether I need to hoover or not! :o

i'm going to pull our two dustbins across the entrance to our front garden, theres a opening in the wall where a gate has been pulled out so two bins should stop people getting in :) also going to put a sign on them saying "newborn baby sleeping, please dont knock" and another on the door just in case they decide they cant read the first or jump over the wall from next door
i'm not going to put anything out for them, why should i spend my precious cash on feeding beggars

last year we didnt get any cos we lived in a estate of one bed flats, but in previous years on my nans road we used to get loads, and some of them didnt even bother dressing up! same with carol singers at xmas, used to get loads of those but chavs who hadnt even bothered to make an effort, just stood at the door singing in a very bored voice something like jingle bells holding out a hat or bucket for change  i used to slam the door in their faces :o

Sami - did you get Buble tickets? I had doctors at 9am and have missed the boat! They seem sold out all over the UK. Gutted.

Got to go for an ultrasound next week as may have gallstones :(. I was never ill before pregnancy!!

MFD - you have my sympathies. OHs are incapable of following instructions but they muddle through!

ETA - I quite like Kate!!
I forgot to check when they went on sale  i bet there'll be more released in a few months!

  • how much does everyone little ones eat? Only my Reece seems to be eating loads and still hungry but I don't want to overfed him and make him even bigger!!

    yesterday he ate:
    Boobie feed
    1.5 weetabix
    a banana
    a yogurt (full size)
    half slice of toast
a cube of HM pasta dinner (about 3 normal ice cube sized)
4 tablespoons worth of porridge with milk
9oz of Boobie milk to go to bed
then another fed at stupid o clock cos he's woken up! But when he was drinking you could hear it hitting an empty stomach so didn't feel so annoyed at him

The last 4 nights Reece has woken up in the night which he's not done for a few weeks and been waking up early in the morning as well. Is that a lot or not for a 5.5 month old? I can't remember what Charlie used to eat (i know he's only just turned two as well!!)
:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009
:heart2:Toby born Apr and taken by SMA Dec 2012

MFD he can't help it he's a man and to be fair Benjamin wasn't harmed by the experience, however there is no need to let OH know that its not the end of the world, lots of sucking up is required to restore marital harmony.

SS I am so sorry to hear about your cat, I worry about my moggies constantly which is crazy seeing as i spend most of my time moaning about them/shouting at them/kicking them out the door.

Positive thoughts to Keely's MIL, Bad vibes to the rest of her family and throws paracetamol in the direction of AM

So the HV has just left is completely happy with what Ello eats, is completely happy with Ello's head Circumference and length. However, when she weighed her she has lost weight since she was last weighed 4 weeks ago??!!! I weighed her at surestart and she had gained 10oz last week so this does not make sense. I am meeting HV at docs at 4pm to weigh her again on their scales because we have to assume either surestarts scales or HV's scales are wrong.

She did Ello's 8m check whilst she was here and is happy with that too.

She has told me that she should be having vitamin drops? Has anyone else been told this? She says all BF babies over 6m should be on them?

ETA I am apparently the worst mum in the world because i refuse to let millie trick or treat, thats fine with me. They didn't knock round here last yr unless you had a pumpkin or something outside or had pre arranged.
