don't think the neighbouring kids will obey a 'don't ring bell, little baby asleep' notice, if the above is anything to go on...
any thoughts wise ones?
xxx
I was thinking of a huge 'don't knock, baby asleep - but please help yousellf' sign on the front door - and maybe a bowl of sweets on the step/or gas meter box. But then I thought the first bunch of greedy beggars who call, would just take the whole bowl full!:beer:0 -

Sorry weezl not any constructive ideas as my first idea was using a AK47, tank, proximity mines, hose - which may be a little harsh I suppose

Hi everyone - phew, I go away for a few days and there are 100s of posts! :eek:Thank you Weezl and everyone else who commented (I think I found them all ), I really appreciate it. Weezl, the biggy I really want to know is, is it possible to feed yourself safely on 60p a day when pregnant, or breastfeeding, or both?? Thankyou!! :kisses3:
And the other HUGE thing I now need to know...is BM pregnant?! Kept reading and couldn't find the answer! Such a cliffhanger!
I feel slightly less of a 'fraud' being on here right now as I am 6 days late...;)...Highly highly unlikely peeps :rotfl:The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Oh, and Weezl - if you have any means of covering your doorbell so it can't be rung I'd cover it
Failing that just wire your gate closed :rotfl:Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Morning all - rant alert, feel free to skip!!
I am so angry with my hubby right now that I thought I had better rant on here to you before he gets both barrels
Last night I went out with some RL mummy friends and my old Big Booby - you remember the one who went off with cervical cancer - to a quiz night in aid of BB's Gynae Cancer Support Group. Before I went out we went over to see CM for hubby to meet her and me to meet her hubby (all went well).
So I left everything out for hubby because I needed to drop him and Benjamin off and leave straight away. Benjamin needed a pudding because he hadn't had time at dinner time, to be changed for bed and a bottle before going down.
I got back and baby is in bed, not changed - not even his dirty nappy, still in his pumpkin outfit that he wore to go out in, no pudding, and no sleeping bag
Hubby is all smiles saying 'have I done something wrong?'
So, being hungry, cold and dirty I spent over 2 hours awake with Benjamin in the night
To top it all hubby is off to pick up a swanky new car today, which I know is the company money and not his but it feels so wrong when we are struggling to find a mortgage payment this month never mind eat and start buying for christmas.
Part of me knows I am just being tired and crabby and that I should just accept that men don't think of these things and I should be happy that I could leave Benjamin with him and that he got safely to bed but at the same time I am pee'd off that he couldn't even follow simple instructions when I left everything there for him.
Calming down already.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Weezl - is it a wireless doorbell? Could you take the button thingy off the door?
MFD - I know it's frustrating when OHs don't seem to have that common sense bit in their brain! I know that if I go out I'd be lucky if Josh was even in bed, let alone changed aswell! Not that I've got the chance to go out now I've got a baby who doesn't seem to like being with anyone but me :rolleyes:Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -
