  • So the HV has just left is completely happy with what Ello eats, is completely happy with Ello's head Circumference and length. However, when she weighed her she has lost weight since she was last weighed 4 weeks ago??!!! I weighed her at surestart and she had gained 10oz last week so this does not make sense. I am meeting HV at docs at 4pm to weigh her again on their scales because we have to assume either surestarts scales or HV's scales are wrong.

She did Ello's 8m check whilst she was here and is happy with that too.

She has told me that she should be having vitamin drops? Has anyone else been told this? She says all BF babies over 6m should be on them?

ETA I am apparently the worst mum in the world because i refuse to let millie trick or treat, thats fine with me. They didn't knock round here last yr unless you had a pumpkin or something outside or had pre arranged.

    Never heard of Vit drops??

Glad HV is happy  it does sound like someones scales are wrong though. My MW used to isist that she use them on the same surface every time she visited because even a less worn patch of carpet can make a difference.

How is Millie? Is she better?

*sigh* Big paddy fits here :( He fell asleep on my shoulder then woke up with a jump and just started screaming.. We had a walk round the house, put the kettle on for some water to help his seemingly poor tum, then put him in the Jumperoo while I made a cuppa. Surprise, surprise - it worked  He's now shrieking at the Loose Women theme tune..

  • Oh - my quest for today - finish the ice-cream so we can fit some other stuff in the freezer. I think I'm up to the challenge ;)

I also need to clear the mound of clothes I just put on the bed, so I can have a nap this afternoon if I get the chance. I had a 3 foot pile of things that need sorting out on my arm-chair. I'm sure some of it will go back there, but it also contains most of my socks, and I'm bored of having cold feet :o. It is gradually getting tidier in this flat, but only very slowly - I feel like I'm fighting a loosing battle, but we get there gradually - 2 steps forward and 1 step back!
