I have spent the evening preparing a 'Leila instruction manual' for the childminder. Hubby things i've gone a bit crazy. I'll post it if anyones interested. Otherwise i'll just give it to the childminder as it is and she can curse me when i've left her house tomorrow!

Daddy and Leila have gone to bed. I'm watching a swivel sweeper on QVC cos I cant be bothered to change the channel. Just racking my brain incase i've forgotten anything to tell the childminder. Its funny how the things I do with Leila all seems so natural and normal to me but when I write them down she seems to be a complicated little baby.

Loving the pumpkin pics tonight. Do they sell them pre-carved!! I dread to think what a mess I would make of it. I'm so uncreative!

    Morning

Hope it all goes ok with the childminder. I can remember the first few times I left Charlotte with my Mam and I was worried sick in case something happened, but she was fine!
Here I go again on my own....

morning becles and all who follow! :)

    Glam,

The dependant's pension stuff I showed you yesterday was assuming you were in the 1995 scheme, but I realised afterwards you were saying you are in the new scheme. In which case OH's pension if you die in service is:

37.5% of your notional upper tier ill health retirement pension (that's the amount we calculated yesterday)

Short term pension payable at rate of your pensionable pay for the first 6 months

    and Jack's is:

18.75% of your notional upper tier ill health retirement pension for 1 child

37.5% shared equally if 2 or more

edit: If OH is not your DH (sorry I know I should know that but I had a rubbish night sleep!) then the lump sum payments will be subject to inheritance tax I think.

    HTH

    Love Weezl xxx

Bad night here-Elliot has a cold and sore throat, crying a lot of night and wouldn't accept any calpol for his teething :(

Had a stressfull day yesterday, came home shaking from stress and exhaustion. Felt like crying. I can't cope with family problems anymore. I've had enough. I don't like family members coming out with horrible sarcastic remarks about Elliot. They can all go jump now. Saying something about Elliot has made my mind up for me.

is anyone on farmville or cafeworld that i'm not neighbours/friends with yet???

I'm on farmville & cafeworld- add me to your friends if you want to- Claire Jones

My boys were tag teaming last night! Charlie woke up at 12.30, Reece at 2.30 for 2 hrs, Charlie at 5.20, DH got up at 5.30 for work, Reece at 5.50 and Charlie again at 6am ! They really are trying to wear me out!!

I've listed something on ebay and had 3 different people asking for a buy it now price and would I send the item to them even though I put collection preferable!! I don't have a box so thats why but people have said they will pay extra for it to be posted or arrange their own courier but that still means I've got to sitin while I wait for their courier to collect and they expect me to package it all up for them for nothing! I told people to make me an offer and one buyer offered me £40 including the postage costs (about £9 via royal mail). Ideally I wanted £40 so she's bought it and said she assumes the postage is included and could I send it via courier due to the strikes on next day delivery - talk about take the p1ss . I've replied saying it doesn't include the postage so the postage is extra or she can contact ebay to remove her bid and i'll re-activate my listing - I had 10 watchers and 3 offers!!

  • I'm an early bird today! :)

Sami, we waved to you yesterday in Wigan!. DH was home for the afternoon so, quite randomly, he suggested a run there. Didn't take long at all and how cheap is the parking?! I think we get half an hour at Liverpool One for your 3 hours!.

    Hope Elliot feels better today.

And lots of hugs for your horrid day yesterday. Why on earth are they making remarks about a baby?! Is it family that you don't see often?

    xx
