even so, if she woudl just wind down in some way.

finished chatting to the folks (i have such lovely parents) still trying to work out suitable arrangements for a holiday

Did you ever do baby massage? Have you tried reading to her? Benjamin just tries to eat the book and gets really crabby if the book is long (so I stick to short ones!) - not part of our routine yet but will be when he is a bit older. Or just some time cuddling with mummy/a fave stuffed toy?

Of course your parents are lovely - they are yours :A

at least baby gravy sounds somewhat better than baby custard which my hubby has been known to say :rotfl:

i didnt try the massage now. i keep thinking about it, but i wonder what she will think of it as she is such a madam to dress or do her nappy i am not sure if she woudl put up with it.

i actually tried the book thing the other night, but i did use one tha we were given as a gift, and like you say, all she wanted to do was eat it so that didn't go very far.

my parents i think forget i am now an adult and have my own money etc and just keep offering to pay for things that i dont need them to pay for bless them. as my mum says, if they couldn't help then they wouldn't be able to offer
