I was going to post on the Pets board about how to find a good home - but they all scare me over there! (MrsT has recently posted a similar story and I think some of the mad people suggested getting the baby rehomed before the dog!) :rotfl:
there was one recently where the OP posted in a panic cos her dog had bitten her and she wanted to rehome the dog cos she had kids, asking what she could do cos the RSPCA said they were full, and they jumped down her throat saying she had obviously found the excuse she needed to get rid of the dog!! _pale_
if i had a dog and it bit seth, i wouldnt hesitate to rehome it, i posted as such and was branded a irresponsible pet owner! some of them can be right nutters over there! my cat nips him sometimes when playing, but a cat isnt capable of mauling in the way a dog can!

    Morning everyone,

Holly was up a bit earlier than normal this morning – 6am. Got up and fed her and caught up on all the goss from yesterday, but struggling to remember it now.

Elle – fingers crossed that you are right about the good news for Rhys.
AM – sorry you had split with OH, and good to hear you are giving it another go (if that’s what you want).
Buttons – hope your mouth is better after the dentist. You have awful teeth as you are Scottish and it goes hand in hand. My teeth are terrible too. Mainly due to fizzy juice as I have always looked after them but have an addiction to diet coke!
Sami – great that Christopher is using the potty.

Apologies to everyone else as I can’t remember anything else. Cute photos of babies and toddlers everyone!

I am meeting a friend for coffee this afternoon. She had a baby 10 days before Holly (09/09/09!!!). Just going to her house, so will stop off somewhere and get cakes en route. Not really ideal as I was meant to start cutting down on Monday ha ha! Also, my tumble dryer is on the blink. It’s only 2 ½ years old! And, we already got a new washing machine on the day I went into labour and a new dishwasher 3 weeks ago. Can’t flaming afford to replace anything else!!! What a nightmare.

:rotfl:how dare someone with a dog to look after decide to breed without re-homing the dog first!
I was secretly planning to get a dog for my birthday (in june) but I'm wondering if I could get the house sorted sooner....

I had a go of it yesterday but it was a bit slow to react but I wasn't sure if it was because it had the sticker on the screen or not I'm wondering if I should have a go of the nokia equivilent that everyone raves about but need to see what the camera is like coz thats mostly what attracted me

Well, i've decided now. I'm going to pack the suitcases, and drop the children on the doorstep of the local childrens home. Anything to keep the dog happy! :rotfl:

Was it the Nokia N97? MIL was going on about it the other day - she said she likes it better than the Satio - but she likes her Nokias.
    I've not seen it yet.

    No !!!!!! sherlock!

Our dog is absolutely lovely with the children and tolerates Violet pulling his ears and sucking his head! But I would still never leave him alone with her - because you just don't know do you?

And I would feel a bit mean about him going because hes DS's best friend! The dog sleeps in his dog bed up in his bedroom! (I did try to move the dog bed back out, but DS just got up in the night and put it back!)

Aww you can't take DS's best bud away now, that is too cute! (and make me think of that show about Thomas the dog that helped an autistic boy become higher functioning - did you see that? it was a few yrs ago)
    I thihnk its the Nokia 5800 http://www.nokia.co.uk/find-products/all-phones/nokia-5800

I drink way too much Diet Coke, and the stuff he has put behind my front teeth has came off a bit as it's see through at the ends of my teeth again GRRRRR, waste of bloody money.

I have the worst periods right now, I'm soaking through a tampon every hour!! Also seems to be (tmi) clots? YUK!

We are skint again, well not really but he only got paid about 4days ago. Ok all the bills are paid but jesuuuuuus, not much cash, food to buy, xmas gifts still to buy, Keira needs new clothes, so do i, so does OH. WHEN WILL IT END.
  • First post, lol, was just browsing :D but Oh buttonmoons - i know that feeling. BTW try ease of the diet coke - i have wrecked my teeth with coke, i was seriously addicted to it, drank at least one big bottle a day, yikes. Cavities everwhere :(

Why not buy OH and DD some clothes for Xmas, it's what i am doing this year. Getting OH a few pairs of jeans (he lives in jeans) from Topman with the pigsback vouchers i have accumulated and character stuff for DD like Belle/Minnie mouse tops and such from George/Tesco and MC. ;)

Well OH wants a game for Xmas for his ps3  He moans about having no clothes yet makes no effort to get them himself, I can't do it for him!!

Well she just needs more trousers and tops really but saying that I just came across a black bag full of hand me down clothes from my sister, so I really don't need to get her that much now, maybe a nice dress for Xmas, pyjamas, she needs new winter boots and a pair of jeans or 2.

I just ask OH's mum to nip in by Mckays and she buys it.......:o

Yeah I will try and lay off the coke, I just love the fizzy burst in my mouth, i tried sparkling water and it's not that nice. But diet coke is expensive too.

Still need to get DD's Xmas presents, think it's the roller skates/helmet set, a bed spread for her bed, maybe some peppa pig books, another puzzle and some books.

She'll be getting loads from other people aswell so .... :)
