Well I have a bit more than that, but it's to last us a month, he was only paid the other day and he was paid early - oops!

That sounds like quite a lot already Luce.

Trying to think what I've bought so far

    A big pink art easel
    Box of chalks
    2 number puzzles
    1 princess puzzle
    A dora the explorer watch
Eyepet for the Ps3 - Can you tell that was OH's suggestion

When I think about what Im buying her there isnt really toys, well I guess the art thing is and the eyepet, and she'll get rollerskates, but no actualy toy toy? Does that make sense? lol. Maybe I should get her a little peppa pig playset.

It's not going to matter anyways but my mum is getting her a new princess dress, so everything else will be forgotten about!

I find it quite hard to buy for Keira though as she has basically all the big things, which reminds me I totally need to sort her bedroom out before Christmas, which also involves sorting out the drying room to make space for the crap out her bedroom.

Annoys me though because I share that cellar thing with next door and their crap has spewed over to my side, there isn't even a space down the middle now, so I wanted to use that room to dry my clothes, I couldn't! Once I sort my side, if they don't fix theirs or more stuff spews over, then they'll be getting a knock at their door....GRRRR

i dont need to get the kids anything else now they'v got loads!! ive run out of wardrobe space to stash everything!

Luce and BM, that sounds like a lot for fairly little littlies already - is it not?

Molly's getting two toys (Argos 2 for £15), a snowman babygrow for sleeping in Christmas Eve and a Santa suit for Christmas Day. I may add a rattle, but I might get one of those before Christmas. Husband has a silver baby rattle that belonged to one of his miscellaneous relatives, but it leaves black marks wherever it touches and she keeps licking it.
Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
    Three gifts left to buy

BM- I saw them eyepets advertised last night, they do look good! I really need to sort out Jakes toys as well, he's got so much he dosnt play with thats just taking up space. The toddler group we go to are having an autumn fayre next months to might have to donate a load to them.

Jakesmummy - I've never heard of wonderpets what are they? We havn't got a Sainsburys here but Asda have a good toy sale on at the minute, they seem to have quite a lot. Is Home bargains the same as B&M bargains? didn't think to look in there for things. them gloworms are really nice i bet jasmine will love it :)

Sugarspun - I know it is a lot for a a 2 year old, but just wanted to get him a few more bits this year as i've never really bought him much for Birthdays and xmas before :o I need to get a santa suit for my sisters little boy, it'll be his first xmas so promised i'd get him one as his xmas present!

Luce - I'm getting Chris a name jigsaw from ebay (really should order it soon!) He's obsessed with jigsaws and knows a few letters now so figure it might help him learn is name ;)

BM - how much has what you already cost? I think you've probably bought enough

  • Luce its a cartoon thing on nick jr, http://www.nickjr.co.uk/shows/wonderpets/index.aspx

yeah home bargains is similar to b&m but i find better bargains in home bargains, but they do have good offers on toys at b&m,

i think when theyr babies its a bit pointless spending loads cos they dont really have a clue but once they get to 2,3 its when the magic starts and they get excited about father xmas!

ive bought jake quite a lot but ive got everything cheap when its been on offer so even though it may look as though ive spent alot ive not. ive not got jasmine much but she has no toys of her own at the mo so some stuff is like 12mth plus so i shouldnt need to get her any more toys til xmas 2010!!

    Not much Sami.

Dearest thing was the art easel, it was from the ELC and they are never cheap  did get £10 off it though so lemmie see.

    £40 - Art Easel
    £2 - Chalks
    £4 - For the 2 number puzzles
    £5 - Princess puzzle
    £5 - Dora watch
£30 - Eyepet (BUT Oh was wanting the eye camera for the ps3 anyways, and it was the same price for eyepet with the camera, or camera alone!)

That's not much ^ Well to me. I'm just getting her rollerskates, and then some books, and maybe hungry hippos or something. Not sure. I promised I'd get her a princess duvet, and that's more to encourage her to sleep in her own bed!

On the upside, I now have 1 of my sisters presents bought, my dads, grandads, OH's dad and mum (though probs get her something more as it was a free gift I got she's getting :rotfl:)

So just got my other sister (R4 card for her) my Gran and OH's sister (who wants the new Xtina aguilera perfume, what is that one lol)

I only buy my gran and granda token gifts, they don't want anything but they give us £150 in cash at Xmas!:D

Thats the same as the stuff i've bought for Jake its all been on offer so haven't spent as much as i would have done if it had been full price.

Sami - Jake loves jigsaws as well he's got quite a few but seems to manage to lose all the pieces for them, theyre probably all at the bottom of his toybox somewhere! Does the ebay seller sell them with numbers on or just names? Jake keeps trying to count but at the minute every number is "2" so would like to encourage him to learn more!
