  • Tigs: Andrew will get there, he's achieved so much already he's just letting his body have a rest and catch up! Hope you are getting rest where and when you can and Marley is ok. :p

We all have days/weeks/months when we think we aren't doing the best for our babies and so an so would/does do a better job but without us our babies wouldn't be half as cute and well developed!

    Already? Lordy!

Sorry, meant to ask earlier.. what kind of job are you looking for? :)

Ideally something working with children & families so I make use of my nvq but depends what comes up as my maternity leave finishes middle of november. But I am able to claim contributry based JSA for up to 6 months (NI is paid as part of child benefit) so we can manage finanically for a few more months. However as terrible as it sounds I need to work for my own sanity and motivation! I love my boys and looking after them but I need something to keep my brain working!

I used to work for a bank in card services and then in mortgages which I enjoyed. I'd rather stay working in Immingham if I can as hubby takes the car to work and I'd rather not have to take buses into grimsby everyday - longer away from my boys (DH starts too early to get the bus!)

I've had to put my chunky Reece into the 6-9 months clothes and I'm mourning he newborn ones. Not that I want another baby  more in a can you stop developing and growing cos soon you'll be more independant and not need me! Reece is rolling and shuffling around far too quickly, crawls/shuffles backwards and is getting better at moving himself. Can you all tell him to stop please!! Although the little monkey has woken up at 5.30am mon morning, 1.30am & 5.30 tues and 4am this morning for feeds so its making him hungry again - bang goes sleeping through the night!
:heart2: Charlie born Aug 2007 :heart2: Reece born May 2009
:heart2:Toby born Apr and taken by SMA Dec 2012
    :heart2: Baby boy failed M/C @ 20 wks Oct 2013 :heart2: Sienna born Oct 2014
  • Krystal, I am dreading it with Chris, as he has Chrons he is not eligable for CI without paying a massive premium, but they will still exclude bowel cancer, which he has a major increase risk of getting. We have a savings policy specifically for this event, as I couldnt afford to cover everything as well as his treatment and travel. It is something we had to think about as he is very likely to get it at some point, or if not cancer, he is very likely to have a bad relapse, so either way, we would need help :(

Good point MM/Krystal!! If I were ill we wouldn't get any extra money but would have to have the kids looked after if I couldn't!
    I have an announcement:

IMO Chris is now Potty Trained :j :T
He just sat himself on the potty and did a poop :D (I never thought I'd be so happy to have to carry a potty of poop to a toilet!
