but don't most 'normal' babies either crawl or bottom shuffle? (I actually don't know the answer to that)
Has everyone seen a bottom shuffler? I find it hilarious

I didn't do either - but I am 'normal' and gorgeous and wonderful:rotfl:

Oh I completely agree - as a mummy everything a baby does is a milestone - including learning how to throw their dinner on the floor, look cute and even fall over!

it's just that I had been having a milestone chat with some other mums the otherday IRL. I never crawled, neither did DH, but we were early walkers, and LO has learned to stand, cruise and push things along before she learnt to crawl (i.e. the wrong way round IYKWIM) and the HV said that they don't count it as a milestone because so many babies never crawl - but I'm not sure I believe her! I was just wondering if anyone had been specifically told their child had 'missed' that milestone :p

Hope you are feeling better BTW

    I'm fine thanks, X.

Am I the only Mummy who thinks that learning to blow raspberries is one of the best milestones! :o :rotfl:
Too many children, too little time!!!

Glam, Bottles are no cheaper than normal, £21.99 for four. Its just that if you spend £50 at the event you get £12 in points. I need other things too like nappies, so will make it up to £50 quite easily. I always use my boots points to buy OH aftershave for christmas. Event days are different at each boots, the one at Robin Park in Wigan is on Wednesday from 3pm until 8pm.

    Which milk is Jack on?

more of a private thing. Having a baby that can say yes and wave goodbye just doesn't go with my theory about when I was going to stop.

I didn't know Benjamin could say YES. I missed that. Oh wow :j:j:j:j:j:j:j

    YES YES YES:rotfl::T

*is it wrong I get so excited over friends LO's achievements:confused:;):D:rotfl:*

Right - I'm off to bed. Lo and I are going on girly mummy shopping day tomorrow. I will resist the temptation to buy my LO things and treat myself for once. Caz's shopping trip in DP last week has inspired me :D Then off to see grandmother in hospital so away for a few days. Elle - you'll be chief filler-in-er when I get back ;) Although MFD must promise to tell me of anymore baby development so I can get excited for him:rotfl:

:T:T Tia - well done on 12 weeks of BF :T:T

Although I think still giving a morning BF still counts as BF!! I can't imagine giving the morning ones up either! I really never thought I would be BF a 7 1/2 month old. Although to be fair I rarely BF him in public any more, it is more of a private thing. Having a baby that can say yes and wave goodbye just doesn't go with my theory about when I was going to stop.

Scruffy - you made me snort - it looks like you are offering Weezl bum-hugs

I never fed in public, just couldn't/can't get my head around it at all! Yeah, BF just seems t be what you do with a baby because that's all we see and associate as 'normal', but toddlers breast feed too, must be great when they can say 'thank you'! :D

tia 12 weeks is better then the 5 weeks i last :D x

And 5 weeks is better than the 2 I managed with the boys. I didn't really think I'd do much more than that this time!
