Sorry jakesmummy, can't help with the mesh. But Imogen was 'teething' from about 4 months and didn't get her first tooth until she was nearly 1. She had all the classic symptoms, red, hot cheeks, bad nappies, grumpy, off her food etc. But absolutely no teeth! She didn't even have them all when she was nearly 2 and we went to the dentist. We've just been again and she now has all of them, tho' I'm sure her back molars only came through about 4 months ago. Dentist said there's no rush.

  • JM I don't have one but could you not soak it over night?

DH grunnys been in hospital all week and not eating, think it's all down hill from here. He's not sure if he wants to visit her as he'd rather have happy memories of her rather than seein her very ill. Altho saying that 4 years ago she started refusin any medication and they all thought that she wouldn't last that much longer.......

  • Just researching swaddle blankets for LO as got up 3 times yesterday just to wrap him back up - his sleeping bag is fab, but he still needs to be swaddled too - so for now (and hopefully a good nights sleep) I'm looking for a swaddle blanket but does anyone else think this is wrong?..

Ooh Caz, when's the move?! And what is this 'ironing' you speak about?

Have had to move Alex up into his 3-6 month clothes and discovered he has a whole new wardrobe of lovely things other people have bought him. We did a bit of sale shopping at Gap yesterday and used the 30% off voucher to buy autumn/winter stuff for Imogen. We only tried the tops on her when we got home and they are too small! Gap 3-4 yrs say 91-99cm. Well she's already 95cm and she's not 3 for another 3 months. So off I go on Monday to change them for age 4-5. Eeek!

  • Evening all. We are back from staffordshire, Izzy is sleeping, DH passed out on the sofa. QI on the tv. And what am I busying myself with? Working out what to put on my Mr T order of course. Glamarous life I lead here. I don't think I've even got any chocolate to keep me company

We had a lovely weekend. Granny is still paying for her bungalow (not sure how long she will be allowed to keep it) while she is in the home, so we took her home for the day on Friday, which was lovely for her. She got to spend the day sitting on her own sofa, and we gave her lunch. And (most importantly) she got to spend all day watching/playing with Izzy :)

Oh, and my Dad bought 60 bottles of cider from Mr M, as it was reduced to £1 a bottle, and dated June 2011. :money: Some for me, some for him and some for my brother. I'm sure we are up to the challenge :)

Erm yes! Although DH suggests it will be useful when they are on the move. "Little b@ggers will be where you left them," he suggests!

We had to give up swaddling Imogen at around 12-14 weeks cos she got too big and strong. She'd wake herself up regularly, some nights every 30 mins until her sleep got deeper. That was also why we put her in her own room cos she would wake herself up windmilling her arms and bashing them on the sides of the moses basket. No swaddling and her own cot = much better nights' sleep for LO, but not for me until a few weeks later when she finally slept through.
