Dialysis, its everywhere really as post that is posted goes everywhere. I had something delivered recorded delivery and it took over two weeks to get it just the other week. I complained (not like me is it:rolleyes:) to royal mail and got this reply

Thank you for your recent e-mail and l am sorry to hear about the problems
    you have had regarding
    the delivery of your mail.

I'm sorry that you did not receive the service expected on this occasion. I
can assure you that we do all we reasonably can to ensure the safety of
    mail in our care.

However, due to the high volumes of mail handled on a daily basis it is not
possible to record the movement of individual items. Consequently it is
often not possible, as on this occasion, to say exactly how or why an
    individual item is lost.

I would suggest that you ask the sender to submit a claim for this loss, as
they are able to provide more specific details regarding the item. They may
also be able to offer you a refund or a replacement.

I can assure you that all service failures are taken seriously. Lost mail
items are reported to our Security team and the details of your complaint
will also be used at the highest levels within Royal Mail to evaluate our
    performance.

    Regards

    Steven Senior

My news on the default of Twopart, also posted on the other thread as well, and my reference number is one.:j:j
    Good afternoon,

I can confirm that Twopart Limited were declared "in default" on 8 September 2009.

As you may be aware, we expect in most cases to complete all claims within 6 months from the date a firm is declared "in default"

    Hope this helps

I may be being dense but you would think the FSCS would decide if you have a claim before they send to Deloittes to calculate the claim - why would they waste man hours contacting Picture and other lenders and then calculting what you are due for the FSCS to say no??????

    honey2,

would you be able to find out if your friends claim was sent to deloitte or was it just an FSCS decision.
Grateful for any help on this.
