    Hi Honey

You have not upset anyone hun.;):A

Everyone are just curious on their claims.

So please do not worry, and hope you receive all your money soon, and remember to treat yourself to something as well, you have all been waiting long enough.

    Xx

    I second the above post.xx

I think we just thought we were home and dry on single premium and the five year thing.

I kick myself every day - The FSCS telephoned me yesterday and said I would receive a cheque and a letter, so yes mine seems to be ok. I won't believe it till I see it though.

Our PPI cost was £10,450.00 taken out in 2006 for 5 years and only covered the 1st named not joint.

Once I receive the correspondence from the FSCS I am happy to post what they say in relation to how they have made the decision and what the calculations are. Hopefully it will help others trying to work out what they will get.

Once again I am sorry not my intention to cause upset today.

We all know it was not your intention to upset anybody, you are just sharing your info as we all do here, so don't you worry about that.

Also, I do believe they listen to the recording. They stated that to me when I first contacted them about my claim. Our advisors name was on the copy of the agreement, so it would be easy for them to dig out the recording.

It is such a long time ago and just hope we haven't agreed to anything inadvertently, pr been told anything that we have forgotten, when at the end of the day we were in a desperate situation, otherwise we would not have gone through Picture
Take care and let us know as soon as you hear anymore

You have not upset me;) Stop worrying, as Di says we are all curious and have waited ages. We need to look at all sides as you just never know what could happen.
Are you able to say what number your claim was.

My reasons for miss selling were:
The policy covered my OH and not both of us as we were led to beleive,
My OH was only temporary employed.
We both had pre existing medical conditions. We backed this up with a letter from GP.
We were not informed that the policy only covered the first 5 years only.
We were informed this ppi was select to picture and the best deal on the market.
We were informed we would not get a better /cheaper deal.
We were not informed that if we missed any repayments we would lose the bonus pay out after the first 3 years.
The representative never spoke with OH and dealt with me only!!

I hope they pay us out cos I am sure my claim would embarass them in court!!!
My reasons were the same as yours beaniebabe
My OH was only covered for everything I was told at time of claiming for illness for myself I was only covered for death
I have a pre exsisting medical condition which I informed them about
we were not informed of the 5 year thing
The rep only ever spoke to me and not other half
We were not informed we could get a cheaper deal, I must just point out that when I told my financial adviser about this he could have got me a policy for £20.00 per month covering both of us which can be cancelled at any time.

Dont forget through that some parts of the country have still a backlog of post to get through and therefore can take an extra few days due to the recent Industrial action.

Well this is what I was told at the PO earlier.
If you see a penny, pick it up, all day long you'll have good luck !!!!!! :D

Dialysis, its everywhere really as post that is posted goes everywhere. I had something delivered recorded delivery and it took over two weeks to get it just the other week. I complained (not like me is it:rolleyes:) to royal mail and got this reply

Thank you for your recent e-mail and l am sorry to hear about the problems
    you have had regarding
    the delivery of your mail.

I'm sorry that you did not receive the service expected on this occasion. I
can assure you that we do all we reasonably can to ensure the safety of
    mail in our care.

However, due to the high volumes of mail handled on a daily basis it is not
possible to record the movement of individual items. Consequently it is
often not possible, as on this occasion, to say exactly how or why an
    individual item is lost.

I would suggest that you ask the sender to submit a claim for this loss, as
they are able to provide more specific details regarding the item. They may
also be able to offer you a refund or a replacement.

I can assure you that all service failures are taken seriously. Lost mail
items are reported to our Security team and the details of your complaint
will also be used at the highest levels within Royal Mail to evaluate our
    performance.

    Regards

A lot of mail is affected by this.
