What romantic things does your OH do for you?

In thoughtful mode today... I was wondering, particularly for couples who have come out of the honeymoon phase and dropped back into real life LOL, what does your OH do that is romantic?
Question for both ladies and mens:D
I ask because I was thinking of some romantic things I've read that ladies' OHs have done for them, and I wondered what people think. I especially wonder what romantic things men like having done for them - I don't mean pervy things btw!:D
Or what romantic things has someone done in the past, etc etc...

Having had a particularly bad day at work, I walked into the house to be handed a glass of wine and pushed upstairs to the bathroom - he'd ran a bubble bath for me with candles, a book, fluffy towels - the works! It was years ago, but have never forgotten it.0

My OH bought me flowers on Saturday
But most men only notice the pervy thingsIf you go and visit them at work and bring them a surprise something they don't think it's romantic!

I think the most romantic thing my boyfriend does is wash up... all the time. It's always his job and he never complains about it, and he just chose to do that.
I get flowers because he gave me some once and I was so grateful, he knew he'd done the right thing.
He introduces me to everyone as the love of his life and often tells people how clever I am when I have a good idea, making sure they know about every other good idea I have had, too.
But probably the only classically romantic thing was take me up in a hot air balloon.0 -
i not sure if i always call it romantic but thoughtful things my hubby does is will make me cups of tea when he can see i'm in need of one, he always put's the throw on the end of the bed in the way he knows i like. if i've forgotten to get washing in , he will go and get it. He will often cook us dinner.
We been together 8 years now he knows me so well that he can see when i need a little bit of help or a shoulder rub and glass of wine. but tbh i find that because he is so thoughtful i find it romantic. he is always talking about me ( in a nice way ) to his work mates about things i've cooked etc and how proud he is of me. ( but i'm also very proud of him) and for me i find it very very sweet with makes me love him more , which then in turns make me find the little things he does even more romantic.
One thing i love is when we setlle down to watch a dvd together hubby always goes and gets the duvets and pillows as he know i love to snuggle up with him on the sofa under a duvet.
i not sure whne you come out of the honeymoon period. i don't think we have yet.0 -
Ok, we've only been together three, and it sounds like you are still in the honeymoon period after eight, so I guess so are we! (That's lovely!)0

My husband does the cooking (we'd starve if it was left to me lol) - he also makes me a packed lunch to take to work each day (I'm very spoiled!) I often find little love notes in my lunch box, and every one makes me feel special
Been together 9 years, and married for 5 of them, the honeymoon period is definately still going!

We've been together 5 and married for 2.
My hubby makes me breakfast every morning while I am in shower, so I don't have to get up earlier and can eat it while I sort my face out.
He also cooks whenever he is asked - but as he has to be asked I don't think it counts as romantic!:rotfl:0 -
It doesn't sound romantic but it is to me
OH always puts a pillow on my lap because i like to have one to cuddle, and last night he gave up one of his pillows so i could have one to cuddle during the night.
And when im stressed he always tickles my neck cause he knows it relaxes me0 -
I'm another one in the camp of the little things being romantic. The bf and I are long distance so don't see each other very much, but the things that mean a lot to me are the stuff like seeing him waiting for me on the platform and giving me a big hug when I get off the train. He does cook for me as well, but I'm not sure how romantic that is as I am a rubbish cook!
However, the one big (yet strangely small) romantic gesture I remember him making was last New Year's Eve. To put it into context: My boyfriend's brother got married a few days before, and after the wedding we had to go into central London to return his suit. He'd promised me a gingerbread latte (I am addicted to the things) in return for going into the city with him, but for various reasons we didn't have time to go get one. I was heading back up north for Christmas with the family the next day, so went home and thought nothing of it. However, I was coming back to London to spend New Year's Eve with my boyfriend, and when I got to the station he was waiting for me holding the biggest gingerbread latte possible to buy. The fact that he remembered was what meant a lot to me.
He has however just informed me to pack a smart outfit when I go to visit him in a few weeks to celebrate my birthday, which implies some big romantic thing may be happening... watch this space!"A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
Hes quite sweet, he'll play with my hair all the time because he knows i adore it, he always makes me dinner - mostly because he hates my cooking, but he still does it. He'll randomly bring me lunch at work now and again.
He has his moments :rolleyes:0
