Apologies that this is kinda off thread - Bought a Walkman to use when I go jogging. Only hitch is the headphones which come with the player are rubbish - they keep on falling out of my ears! Can anyone recommend any good ones?
Yeah for the £/GB ratio you got a great deal! Especially with it being a Sony. Sony tend to ship really poor basic headphones with their personal audio equipment.

I highly recommend the Sennheiser Px200 (or Pmx200) headphones - I have these and they are worth every penny as they sound so good. However, as you are going jogging you will probably want smaller ones so I would recommend something like the Sony MDR-EX71SLB which go right into your ear, stay in and sound good!:j

I think the style of headphones that clip round the ear are also quite suited for jogging, don't pull on your lug holes as you move :)

If your into jogging, I managed to pick up a silicon protective case on ebay, which comes with a velcro strap (and a neck strap if needed) to attach the unit to your arm for about £5. Might be worth a look.

Well i know what you mean... I did ask how many they had and they said they had loads out the back and thats why I bought 9.
Sorry to anyone I may have upset by buying these.
I wouldn't have cleared them out as I know how it feels when you see a bargain on here and can't get it coz it's happened to me when I went to buy something a while ago and they said "sorry, someone came in and bought the last 10 that we had earlier"
Good luck to everyone and anyone that wants one, here's a reminder..

Well if Tesco had a shred of enterprise, they'd have put 'em on ebay themselves...

How much they going for (starting bids £130?).

Thanks OP just got two (one silver, one black) for my local. Still had them priced at £149.99 scanned at £84.97 :)

Went out of hours so bod went out back to get them (lucky the boxes are purple), so he didn't notice they were the wrong ones! Now which should I keep and which one should I give to the Mrs?

Oh and in response to the person who said i can't think much of my friends, I sold one today to a mate who wouldn't be able to afford one (even at £99.97) and therefore I am letting him have it for £120 @ £20 per week. He's happy coz he's got it on a buy now, pay later (something which not a single bank in this country would let him do as he has no credit rating)
Let's see... that's £20 more than you paid for it, paid off in six weeks, which is about 1/9 of a year. So that would be £180 interest on a loan of £100 over a year - an interest rate of 180%? Oh I'm sure you'd find some loan sharks who would be happy to offer him that.

    My point still stands. ;)

They have been on ebay for a while and not selling for much over £100. I checked a few weeks ago when Tesco were selling them for the same price as the 6GB ones £149. as I was considering buying a few to sell. I think if you manage to get one of the other colours then you could make a bit more.

Think your maths went a bit astray in attempting to work out an "APR"

    It's only 20%
