Yeah it's been further reduced in my local Tescos too, but unfortunately there are none left.

The guy who bought 9 nice one, I dont have a problem when you get a bargain like that. If I had the spare money at the moment I would have bought a few and stuck them on ebay remember a 5p listing day tomorrow. I dont like people going over the top with freebys and r+r items but the guy spend almost £900 not many people can do that.

To the people who have got wound up by me buying 9, i just wonder why you are all so wound up? I thought this site was about saving money and it costs me a fortune sometimes. I normally just buy a few extra (I am keeping 3) to try and make a little bit extra to pay towards mine!
I would understand if I were going to ebay the lot and make loads but i haven't.. I may put a couple on there but offer friends first. Oh and in response to the person who said i can't think much of my friends, I sold one today to a mate who wouldn't be able to afford one (even at £99.97) and therefore I am letting him have it for £120 @ £20 per week. He's happy coz he's got it on a buy now, pay later (something which not a single bank in this country would let him do as he has no credit rating) and i'm happy coz one of mine has now cost £79.94.
To the people who have said nice things to me, thank you. I have not come on here to cause any offence and am shocked at the responses to my post..... Just thought Money Saving/ Making was what this website was about!
By the way, the other thing is that sometimes these are price errors which are rectified quickly so you have to get in quick!
  • Apologies that this is kinda off thread - Bought a Walkman to use when I go jogging. Only hitch is the headphones which come with the player are rubbish - they keep on falling out of my ears! Can anyone recommend any good ones?
Been to two tescos today and both sold out. Did manage to make all my work colleagues green with envy today when i walked in with it! Thanks to OP for this - been wanting the 6GB one for ages but couldnt justify the £150 cost. Getting 20GB for less than £100 was an extremely good deal!

I was also annoyed, however you seem a reasonable person so who are we to judge?

The problem is that some people buy shedloads to put on ebay just for profit and spoiling it for everyone else - just look at the number of Garmin I3's on eBay. It will only discourage people from posting their finds - like I recently did.

There is also the question of declaring profits to the tax person (politically correct eh)

I totally agree with buying a few extra to make some money back etc...but you will find that this website is about consumers saving money not mass buyers making money. People will often loose out, especially if there is a good offer on a website and someone buys 10 odd of them, leaving none for anyone else. Personally I can't see the justification in buying 9 20GB MP3 players from Tesco but yes it is a free world obviously. You will often find that if you go onto a thread here saying thanks for posting this offer I have just bought **(insert 2 digit number here) that people will not be too amused about you buying so many.

Never mind I hope you make some decent cash!

Well i know what you mean... I did ask how many they had and they said they had loads out the back and thats why I bought 9.
Sorry to anyone I may have upset by buying these.
I wouldn't have cleared them out as I know how it feels when you see a bargain on here and can't get it coz it's happened to me when I went to buy something a while ago and they said "sorry, someone came in and bought the last 10 that we had earlier"
Good luck to everyone and anyone that wants one, here's a reminder..
