I used mine for the first time last week and it was a great success, still used a few liners just in case and I found I did need them but maybe I just need more practice putting it in. Really glad I decided to give it a go.

Well, after reading several threads on this I finally got one a coule of weeks ago with my boots advantage points (so in my head it was free :D )

I'm using it for the first time today - with pantyliners just in case :o

Luckily I'm off work today so have had the comfort of home to get used to it!

Its nice and easy at home with the taps nearby but I'm not sure how easy I'm gonna find it when out and about :o
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

It's a play on Lord of the Rings and The Matrix - Hugo Weaving plays a part in both films.
The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.

I love my mooncup, I've been using it for 3 years now but I do also use pads too especially in the first couple of days when I am really heavy.
I bought some towelling pads to use but they get very 'hot'.
Can anyone reccomend any reusable pads as they seem so expensive but I hate the disposible types.

These ones have been recommended on here on the old mooncup thread.

It's ok, just make sure that there's loo roll in the cubicle before you comence :D For the first couple of times you could carry a little pack of baby wipes in your handbag. It doesn't matter about cleaning the cup out, just empty it, it's fingers and ermmmm your underneath bits that may need a quick wipe down afterwards :rolleyes2.
Just run, run and keep on running!

  • I've had mine for a year and haven't used it yet because I have huge problems putting it in.

Apparently they offer a money-back guarantee if you don't get on with it...

    Might be worth looking into.

I bought mine from http://www.babykind.co.uk/sanitarywear.htm. I am not sure if they are the cheapest but I like the idea of popper to hold them in place. The service was very good and quick. I have used them for the first time and they are very comfortable.
