just bought one and it works!

    hurray!

i just make sure i use the disabled loos when out and about.

thanks everyone for posting. very encouraged to get on with it. i'm a mum of three so i have no problems using it!!

PLEASE unless you are disabled do not use the disabled loos! There are usually far less disabled loos than able bodied toilets. It is plain ignorant for someone who does not need the extra space or someone else with them in the toilet to use these facilities! You wouldn't want my male carer in the ladies with me would you? You use my toilets, would you like my disability too? It's as bad as parking in a disabled bay!

in some places there is only disabled loos to use...

it's just more convienient to use a loo room with a sink, while you have your period!

and in most places, it's not your loo, it's for the public's use. i hate this reverse discrimination. we are all women in need!

car parking is another matter entirely.

i think people need to use their brains about disabled loos. eg at my work we have about about 1000 employees, 10 disabled loos and no disabled employees so i don't feel bad using the disabled loos.

I don't think i'd use them in a public place (unless it was the only choice of course).

It's sized by whether you've had kids yet or not :) It'll explain it on the box so don't worry :) Or have a look on their website :)

No I am sure no-one would like your disability too, but I don't think it's the end of the world if people do use the disabled toilets - provided they are not preventing a disabled person from getting access to them by doing so. I only use them on very rare occasions and I would never use them if I thought I was preventing someone who was disabled from getting in.
As for parking in disabled spaces... I wish I could drive round with a clamp in my car to clamp people who park in these spaces for you, because they are the scurge if you ask me. They park where they please because they are lazy - we do not use the loo's because we're too lazy to walk another few feet to the "normal" loo's...
I have used them when I have been desperate to the point of being in pain, and I am sure others wouldn't use them just to avoid walking a few extra feet either...
As for your male carer - I wouldn't mind in the least if you needed him to come help. It's not like he'd be looking into my cubicle and if it maed it easier for you... then fine by me :)

If you go into a toilet that has the disabled symbol on it then it has been made available for disabled users, that is not discrimination. If it is a unisex toilet it is because some people have carers of the opposite sex.
If it is a toilet that has been adapted for both disabled and non disabled use fair enough.
Tell me though, what is the difference between a disabled parking space and a marked disabled toilet?
I cannot use a womens toilet as I need my husbands help! Since when have periods been a disability? I'm sorry but there is no excuse for people to use disabled facilities if they do not have a disability I don't just mean the obvious disabilities, mine is an "invisible illness" but I still can't wipe my backside, I just wish ALL disabled toilets had RADAR keys than this abuse can be stopped!

Here is a reply to an e-mail I sent to mooncup about people recommending the use of disabled toilets..
We are appalled that you have seen people recommending on forums that they use disabled toilet whilst using our products. There is absolutely no reason for them to do this unless they themselves were disabled, and it is not behaviour that Mooncup(tm) would ever endorse.
