trying hard not to go to the kitchen to have a scone or a freshly baked cookie...i put six biscuits in the oven so dh and myself had one each which leaves four for the kiddies school break! the rest of the dough is in the fridge.

do nails taste good with salt, pepper and brown sauce lol

I'm off to the mainland today and won't be back until quite late. I've got to have an US on my thyroid again & then will meet up with DH after he finished work and get some supplies. It's soooooo windy here today, the ferry crossing will be pleasant. _pale_:D I hope my stomach is as strong as Ruby's.

I used to bake cookies for my Rainbows and then have to beat off family members with an Indiana Jones-style whip.

I now always make double quantity of everything. You can always freeze 'em...

Actually, come to think of it, does the fact that I am pathologically incapable of eating only one cookie have any bearing on the fact that I'm not as sylph-like as I once was, do you think? :rolleyes:

Tell the kids the dog ate 'em. Tell the OH the kids at 'em. That leaves four for you, and it's better for your nails (Sally Hansen would be proud...).
