Thanks for your inspiring posts recently Missy- has given me a kick up the butt. Life might be tough but as you said I need to try and seize control of my moods and take more attention over my appearance. I need to be more positive to deal with it all!

    Debt-free and Proud!
Your kick up the backside is working quite well for me this morning missy. Came to work (a bit late because of the rain/floods) and have got one thing finished and haven't been on the internet all day. Just got to keep up the good work for the afternoon now!

Exciting news for you and OH, good luck with it xx

hi ya, how are you all, sorry I didnt post last night, I was out on a hen night and ended up staying at my friends rather than driving all the way back, which saved me about £7 in petrol! and the whole night including food and all drinks only cost me a tenner!!!! Not exactly money saving but cheap all the same.

Am having the best day in the world. I am moving department :D:T all of you know how much I hate my job and some of the horrers I work with, so I am over the moon!! It wont take effect for another four weeks, but god I'm happy :j. Would celebrate with a glass of wine but am on duty call out typical .

Aww thank you for your kind words, I can't believe I'm actually motivating people.... that makes me smile a lot :T and in turn makes me more motivated knowing that people around me are motivated too :D

Hope you're all having a super lovely friday too.

morning everyone, what are all your plans for today?? It's rainy and horrid here I was going to drive into town but I'm not now. going to have an easy morning drinking tea, reading mse and watching corrie. Really should be tidying up but I have more relaxing things to do, the only thing I'm missing is biscuits.

Great news about baby and the move to new department. My OH is talking about me getting pregnant again. It would be lovely to have another and so far i have had a very easy time with pregnacy and children. I, like you would like to be less in debt and also have the house all sorted,so still thinking at the moment

    Hey,

Just found this thread but great stuff. You're very positive Missy and good luck with the baby stuff! Glad your work is getting sorted. Mine is horrid due to boss but I have such a good social life that I can just let it all wash over me until i get something better, which i will soon.

You're right. it is a choice how you start your day and that's hard, especially when money's tight and the weathers bad but heigh ho we have so much more than so many, we live in a society that ALLOWS us to work to pay our debts/way, we have freedom and choices, you and OH can choose when to try for a baby and this is all good. Things are so tough just now but enjoy the good, ride with the bad and look to a better tomorrow. X

Thank you for your nice words slm and souk.

Hmmm might have to rethink the baby plans..... we get married in March, and I didn't think I would show very much at 4 months but speaking to my mum and she was monsterous and I'm pretty much the same frame as her, also she was really sick!!! I don't really want to look or feel like a whale when we've paid out and saved up so much money to go to the maldives..... but I do so want babies... Will speak to OH.

Well I'm up bright and early today due to the clocks going back went out last night but drove so didn't spend very much. And i got given loads of green tomatoes and some red ones, so going to make passata and green tomato chutney. Am also needing to have a marathon tidy up, I don't know what happens to me when OH goes away, I turn into a slob!! My clothes are are all over the floor I haven't touched the kitchen..... Again my organisation skills aren't the best, I really need to work on them and the motivation.... Am currently reading some of the threads on the old style board, more to try and make me feel like I shoul be doing more and for ideas than anything else, some people are just so organised and motivated and get so much more done than I do and they have kids, granted they probably don't work full time, but I do need to do more.

    So be back soon.
