Hi Missymoo!
How are you today - Im not too happy about these dark, cold morning either xxxx:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... Very / Halifax Loan/ A&L / Virgin cc / Lloyds / Sister :smileyheaGetting Married 04.12.10 - The MSE way :smileyhea:dance: Making this house a home :dance:0 -
hi how is everyone... well I had a positive type of day today I hated it as usual, but I tried to stay postive instead of getting majorly stressed. I had a relatively low spend day, I only got petrol which was budgeted for. I drove very carefully trying to get my tank to last the week. I didn't buy any treats either, and although I haven't eaten wonderfully I haven't eaten badly. And for a major change I am actually sititng in my living room in my pyjamas instead of sitting in bed!! I'm rather liking sitting all warm in the living room. I'm going to have a bath later too, to relax me.
Have had a chat with OH and have decided to wait until march to start trying for babiesmy mum was so incredibly poorly with her pregnancy that I can't run the risk of ruining our holiday/wedding of a life time that we have spent forever saving up for if I get pregnant now.
but on the up side, it means i have longer to pay off my debts (not that I will pay any less off, it will just take the stress out of it) and I can pay more off my car... so in a mse sort of way it will be better but its not what I want
but must stay postive.... might sit and work my budgets out to cheer me up..... goodness that sounds sad!!!!:o0 -
we will be trying at the same time then. i totally agree with how annoying it is having to wait. For the previous 2 we have just gone ahead. I feel very impatient but excitedMe, DD1 20, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/190

I totally know what it's like to feel impatient about this, Missy, but really I do think it's the right decision. You want to enjoy every second of your wedding - hard to do if you're feeling poorly. Also, I'm guessing it'll be rather hot in the Maldives, so could be uncomfortable if you're pg. I got married abroad so know how uncomfortable the heat can be in the wedding ensemble!Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.-- Mark Twain0 -
Hey hun, know how you feel re baby, me and OH was originally gonna start trying this month, but as you know we cancelled our wedding, and I have gone back to uni so had the implant in
was hard choice to make but i know it will be the right one xxxx:j6 debts cleared since joining MSE:j:eek: Remaining debts... Very / Halifax Loan/ A&L / Virgin cc / Lloyds / Sister :smileyheaGetting Married 04.12.10 - The MSE way :smileyhea:dance: Making this house a home :dance:0 -
thank you all so much for all your lovely words, I know deep down its the right decision, its just hard to change plans when you have your heart set on something. I guess it's a case of having to follow my head rather than my heart on this decision.
And I'm glad I'm not alone in having to postpone things due to other plans and money.
oooh slm we could be getting pregnant buddies!!!
Hmmm didnt even think about the heat thing, dont want to be miserable and hot either!
cheers peeps you are lovely
