Sorry things have been rubbish in work. I go through spells of really enjoying work (when I'm deluded, I think) and times when I can't stand it. It's the latter at the moment and it makes me want to SCREAM! Anyhow, chin up and know it's not forever xxxx

:eek: I've been like that recently - am having to tell myself 'it's just a job'

I'm so so sorry I have been missing in action for the past few days, everything has been manic and has really got on top of me, and as I haven't been doing anything I have set out to do I kind of felt bad posting.

But I'm back, OH went back today too, so I need to get my backside into gear.

I've been really struggling recently..... work being my major problem, I haven't been watching what I've been eating or watching the what I've been spending either.

Don't get me wrong I haven't done any major damage and I haven't got into more debt or anything, I just haven't been as good as I could have been. I've been buying chocolate every day at work for instance, which I was not going to do!!!!! And me and OH went out a couple of times although we didn't spend anywhere near as much as we usually would have done, so good in a way.

Right OH is away for a month and I would really like to get myself sorted in that time.

I still need to lose a stone or so and I'm back up to 10st 7, so that needs to start tomorrow, I've been driving fast and not taking a proper lunch which also has to stop. I haven't been taking care of myself so much either, my toenails haven't seen nailvarnish for atleast a month, what has happened to me!!!!??? I've let work take over my life too, all I seem to do is sit at my desk, and consequently I was so close to crashing my car tonight though tiredness and lack of concentration through thinking about work, that if a car would have been coming the other way I would have most certainly had one hell of an accident. Bit of a reality shock really. So tomorrow I am going to pull my socks up!!

How has everyone been? I've missed you all!

    Missy

Right not liking my negative attitude, the good things to come of the last couple of weeks.....

I got to see OH which goes without saying really....;)
Apart from those dresses I got in tescos the other week I haven't bought any clothes.:T
I've only spent £5 on the teabar at work, it could have been a lot worse!!:rotfl:
I have been cooking and have started to get the hang of it, I've made curry and chappattis from scratch, and I made pizza on saturday, and although the curry could have been a bit hotter and the pizza could have been cooked for longer, they were very good first attempts!! So I am getting there:j

I'm also intending to have more of a positive attitude to things, I've been so grumpy lately, where as I realised this morning randomly as I was driving to work, that I have a choice, I can chose whether I start the day well or not, whether I choose to just get through the day or whether I can make it into a good one.... definitely I'm going to give it a go, just make small changes and see how much better I can make things.

Try and make time for more exercise as when I've done it I always feel a whole lot better.

Make time to beautify oneself.... take time over my beauty routine every once in a while.

stop rushing, chill more and take some big deep breaths. But, stop being so lazy!

hmmm think that's all for now

Morning, sending positive vibes back to you.

    Must re-touch my nails too.
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

  • Hi Missy:j. You are def right about how you start the day. Your mood is your own and not for others to change!!
You have done realy well if You spend some money it not always a slip just some days its easier and as long as your debts not growing and you are aware of it then i think that ok its the mindless spending we dont face up to that is damaging i think..
Anyhow big hug get thoose nails done!:rotfl:
