There's nothing to sort, just ignore all their correspondence and get on with the things you enjoy. file any junk in a deep, dark drawer and forget it.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

my husband stupidly parked in a disabled space while he ran into tesco for rolls. when he came out 5 mins later the attendant had written out a fine for £70.he said as he had already written it he couldn't do anything.is this legal.
Thats when fines/penalties should stand.
Your husband, aswell as being stupid, is inconsiderate and bone idle.0 -

Except that it's not a "fine" and the blue-badge scheme does not apply in private car-parks.
It's not down to a private citizen (i.e. the parking company) to penalize another private citizen for a breaking these rules. Just ignore and don't pay. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
Hi, need your help please
just got a letter from controlaccount plc people asking for £ 100.00 in settlement for a penalty ticket issued in Nov 2009 '' in an attemp not to incurr our Client with the initial expense of litigation'' !!!. Loooks quite official, what should I do, please advise
many thanks0 -
fed up of people looking for loopholes to dodge paying parking fines. Think about the people who own the car parks, this is their weekly wages and they have a right to earn money to pay for maintenance of car parks. I own six spaces outside my shop and people abuse it all the time parking for two hours to go for a meal or their hair done somewhere else, I pay the rates and keep it in good order for my customers. How would they feel if I parked on their driveway at home for two hours and went shopping.0

Comparing your private driveway with a public car park is idiotic.
Oh, and they are not parking fines. And there are no loopholes.0
