Given away entire nine series of Buffy The Vampire Slayer on video and a couple of series of Sex And The City on video.

Received two computers (one incomplete), colour printer, MD player and MD recorder and two magazines (freebies I'd requested from Sunday papers I'd missed).

The computers were very handy as I'm doing a IT course at my local college so they are great to practice on. I've upgraded one for a friend.

We've given and received lots but the highlights include a bunk bed that I received from a gentleman who received a cabin bed from a lady who took my toddler bed! If that doesn't summarise what freecycle/freegle is all about, I don't know what else does!

    I have given away an old dishwasher,a fridge,a microwave(we bought a smaller one to fit a new space)2x2seater sofas,a bed,baby stuff including a good pram,2 sun room chairs,books.
I have recieved an A0 drawing board on stand and paper guilotine.I was also lucky enough to get in first for a change and was offered a piano which is something I have always desperately wanted but I couldnt afford the £90 piano mover costs for it at the time so had to ask that it be given to one of the 7 other freecyclers who had asked for it too.

I'm addicted to freecycling - I just berated my Neighbour for breaking up an old shed when someone might have wanted it!

i'm on my local freecycle, freeshare and freegle - ok i'm a tart!

I've given more than I've recieved I think, mainly outgrown toys and plants. I did manage to give away most of my old kitchen when i got a new one!!

Once in a while I've given to people who when I've met them I feel are traders and my stuff is off to the market or carboot sale but to some extent I'm not that bothered as it's off my hands!

the best thing I ever got was a vintage typewriter, which I love -It is so heavy though that i nearly had a hernia carrying it back to the car!
Just call me Nodwah the thread killer
