Effects of recession?

Now that lot is sorted lets get back on topic.
I forgot in the first post to mention that I used to hold some Bradford & Bingley shares, but they have now disappeared. Not sure where to exactly , but as they were windfall shares I'm going to assume that the wind blew them away. I didn't buy them so they don't feel like a loss associated with the recession, which, of course they were. Perhaps I have been affected in other ways that I have yet to realise. This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0 -
A mate of mine, local copper, says that kiddy-fiddlers/pedos/dirty old men (mods delete as appropriate, don't know what the pc term for prevert is these days) are no longer going abroad as sex-tourists but staying at home so there are more of them about cos can't afford it
Got a bit of anecdotal too, his daughter was out with her mate and the mate's dad and this guy was hanging round the playground bold as brass, even though the dad and other families were there, the guy was swinging on the swings and staring/letching the whole time. Course he didn't know that the kids were filming the whole thing on their mobiles and that the dad's a copper - he's in for a shock!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

My partner deals with and lectures on child protection issues. In majority of cases it involves someone already known to a child. Some adults prostitute their own chidren to raise money to pay for drugs. There's a dark unreported world in the UK.
Could the guy on the swings just have been simple and juvenille in mind?
People involved in the worst cases of the abuse don't stand out from the crowd. Normally the total reverse.0 -

Never judge a book by the cover and all that. Some of the Old Wives Sayings have a lot of sense in them.0 -

Your right gorgeous but exposure is probably best way of dealing with that sort of behaviour, stick the clip on Youtube with a warning
In the old days of comunity etc everyone would know who to watch out for/avoid/is a bit didgy now everyones anonymous but we have mobiles with cameras instead seems logical to me:D0 -
If you're sure he's a perve then put him on YouTube. Who's going to complain about it? Mr. Pervy?0
