    !!!!!! Sense.

    Brilliant.

The more interesting story is grown men on this forum trying to make excuses for it and/or pretend it doesn't happen. It makes me wonder why.

From my first mention of the story you have all refused to read my posts properly, used misdirection and smoke-screen, claimed it must be some mentally-!!!!!! individual or bereaved father and accused me of a witch-hunt demanding further detail. When I supply further detail you say I'm making it up, as if anyone would. I showed Mewbie the footage as a respected board member and the only person on here I trust yet evidently that was still not enough for you, or rather another excuse to attack me. For what? For bringing up a subject that makes you all either shuffle your feet and stare at your toes or become highly aggressive and take refuge in denial?

I'm sorry you find it so difficult to discuss something so relevant to modern life and so topical, with Roman Polanski's recent arrest; for all your assumed superiority of intelligence, the DFW and DT crowd are far more open-minded and open to debate and if anyone is launching a witch-hunt it is you, the good folk of the ever-troubled House Prices board. Your denial is as pathetic as your attacks on me - pa3dophilia is real, it happens, get over it. There are predators out there who will cop a feel of your child in a public place given the chance and who will attempt to blend in with other families so that no one will know what is happening until it is too late. On occasion they even manage to abduct a child which is when it hits the media and you get to hear about it but most of the time it is so mundane you do not. My mum was always told to avoid "Uncle Willie" (his real name, I kid you not) and was always a favourite for being bounced up and down on Grandad's knee and I personally was groped once and flashed at at least twice by the age of 10. We referred to such people as "w*nkers", just part of life and something you had to watch out for. However, you have gone too far in the other/wrong direction and by denying the existence of the problem you simply allow it to continue unabated. Shame on you, all of you, who would look the other way and call it familial love amongst other things - there is a clear distinction between appropriate and inappropriate behaviour of an adult towards children and you lot need to take a good look at yourselves and ask yourselves if you even know the difference - I know I do.
You can't win an argument with a stupid person.

I'm going to bow out at this point. I've said what I feel is relevant and this is meant to be a board discussing economics and house prices, not your paranoia.

I think that's a good idea mate, you've already shown the limits of your intellect with "!!!!!! sense", one not very good or very funny tv programme and it gives the likes of you the excuse to dismiss the whole problem as mass induced paranoia/hysteria :D

I would have thought you would be better than that or maybe you just like to pretend your better....;)

I refer you to my earlier post:

And I refer you to all of mine.:D

(Err, you do know the Brass Eye was supposed to be about media hysteria don't you? And that it does actually hapen in real life? Just wondered..)

Suitably sanitized version of the girls' film now available on request for those who would keep an open mind until seeing the evidence or want to see a predator at work, and I rest my case.:D

Sorry fungus I have to say this, I really do think at this point if you weren't here I wouldn't be turning up. On a more sensible note I think we all know the the difference between a pervert and a genuine admirer. I have 3 children and I am aware there are perverts out there, but to label a chap having a swing on some swings as a raving kiddie fiddler is extreme.

    Thanks, I think:D

(TBH mate since Mr B departed, I can hardly be bothered with this place most of the time, the tumbleweeds are blowin through and the wrioting is on the wall ;) Anyhoo by the time the snitches are done I spect I shall be off to join him in that great thread in the sky so make the most of me, I'm on the verge of extinction:A)

(And not that I want to pick or anything but HE WAS NOT JUST SWINGING ON SOME SWINGS ok?:D)

We're now in consultation period at work. (100+ to go, 90 day consult)
All will be decided for Xmas.
I'll let you know how it has affected me by then if that's ok?

    I'm true to my word.

    Consultation over.

    Still got job.

Recession hasn't really affected me that much then...... One of the lucky ones I guess. My best wishes to all those who haven't been so lucky.

    Congratulations!

    However, perhaps it did...

After all, you've had a 90 day period of not knowing". Perhaps this may have affected some of your spending/planning, or other perceptions of life?

Just wondering. Recession (& life in general) isn't just about a job.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.
