Haven't a clue. Never been. It would be somewhere quite quiet, but not dead. Beach, harbour would be nice. Good bus or train links to visit other towns/resorts (we don't hire a car). Not banging until 4am with kids/lager louts. Not more than an hour from the airport. Nice selection of restaurants and bars, we're not into rows of McDonalds, kebab shops, burger and chips type places taken over by Brits.
Oh, and not too expensive

Well Andratx (where we keep out boat) ticks all those boxes-bar one..it's v expensive..It's a beautiful harbour, you can sit at waterfront in one of many lovely bars and watch folk like me falling in/out of dinghies! Many, many restaurants, swanky shops-oh and a couple of great supermarkets so if you can self cater you can cut down on cost. Have a look at the Pergola Aparthotel, self catering, about 10 min walk from centre of Andratx, lovely pool,NO lager louts anywhere in Andratx...
If you do firm up a plan, let me know where you have in mind.We were there in late May this year and it was lovely..sea a bit cold though..Debt-free...and staying that way...0 -

There is a good bus network on the island,so you have to go from the airport to Palma, then on from there,PP takes about 90mins by car from airport...probably a bit longer by bus.I though Pollensa did have its fair share of lager louts though....Debt-free...and staying that way...0
