Just want to say a HUGE thanks to those who have seen how I and Mrs_T (sorry for dragging you into this Mrs_T
) were 'treated' on the 'other' thread. I had posted on there a while back asking about ovulation tests and I dont remember anyone being particularly helpful except to say 'Look on eBay'.
I admit we have been totally lucky (or it seems that way) and I would NEVER rub anyones noses in it, its not in my personality and I might go through the same as others and not see this pregnancy through. Also I didnt want to tempt fate - and still dont really as Im not sure what I should/shouldnt be feeling as this whole expereince is new to me - and post straight on here hence why I posted on there first.
Im not good at confrontation especially those I dont know and because of that Ill steer well clear of TTC thread - Ive learnt my lesson and actually felt quite sad to have gotten that response of some people.:o
HOPEFULLY things are going to be just fine and I look forward to coming on this thread where people seem genuinely happy and willing to help.
I must add that I sincerley hope those going/gone through a tough time come out of it with their own bundles of joy in the future:)
Sorry for the long post but I had something to sayOpinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!!0 -
sending a huge amount of labour vibes to squishy, harley and csh and welcome to the newbies too
Had a girls night in last night with wine and pizza (cranberry juice for me!) sorting out one of my friends for an outfit to wear for her brother's wedding - good fun, a cheap night too and lovely to catch up with close friends who'd I not seen properly for weeks. Stayed over and had a hard afternoon shopping down Oxford Street - absolutely knackered now but do have another few baby bits for our little boy. DP is having a boys weekend this weekend so have the place to myself tonight. Really should be catching up on housework but here with telly is much better!
Now what to eat for tea????0 -
Just walked to the shop and need my bed now  Should it be this hard with 11 weeks to go lol?!! I'm a no hoper at the mo. I pleaded with DS to go back to sleep this mornng but he was having none of it so i made him come in my bed and watch telly for 20 mins so i could adjust my eyes :rotfl:0

Poor Beenie xx Altho I'm feelin tired too today and havent done anything more strenuous than cook and wander around the shops and buy a new washer/Dryer! Think I must be coming down with something as OH says I sound like am out of breath. He was also luaghing at me walking around town as I apparently waddle already hehe.
Spent the last few hours researching re usable wipes, and much to my suprise OH agrees they would be good to use, so well chuffedNow to decided which ones and how many? Or maybe DIY to be really MSE.

Aww Beenie! It's only half 7, you can't go to bed now! LOL
Re-useable wipes sound interesting.Might have to have a little research myself now.0 -
Im knackered to, all i've done today is shopping and cook lunch for my parents and siblings. Maybe it was cause i was sat in sun earlier?
I'll have dinner and lay on sofa all night, then get an early night
Doing a BBQ for OH's parents tomorrow

Hiya peeps, Im new to this board. I found out yesterday Im pregnant with our 1st child. Ive done 3 tests in total and all came up positive - so I guess its fairly definate!! Ive not been to the doctors yet as Im not sure who I should see. Im going to try and see them Monday if I can get in!! Will they do a test to confirm or just take my word for it - Im a bit paranoid that Ive got it wrong even though I know what I saw (if that makes sense).
Good to see Mrs_Tradition posting on here as we were both 'got at' in another thread
So nice to see you. I will stick around to see you updates for next 9 months or so xx
Just reading the other posts after my first and completely overwhelmed by the support. Thank you all. I am going to continue readin and find my feet. Join you all in earnest when I have read all the thread xxx thank you xxxx0 -

arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
hormones are seriously in overdrive
I have just been crying down the phone to virgin media :rotfl:
There has been a fault in the area for the last week they promised me it would be fixed by 9am thursday and it is still as slow as hell it took me 6 attempts to get through to someone without the phone disconnecting who was really lovely and offered to put me through to a senior technical advisor and then i got cut off again
Gonna try and ring back in the morning when hormones have settled down a bit i feel really silly now though:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
