Thats exactly the way I see it too Beenie. That TTC thread is more for 'am I, aren't I?' Does this test work, should I buy a CB monitor type posts where as the other one for medical probs. Some of the women on the 12+ thread are amazingly strong and have been to hell and back.

    *pops in from TTC*

I just wanted to say it's not bitter jealousy but the fact ladies have gone on to say they have a BFP when they haven't even posted before.... it's the trying for a baby thread - for people who are TRYING;)

I love seeing ladies getting BFP's on there after they've posted beforehand... whether it be a short amount of time or long amount of time:D

And remember our hormones our all over the place especially as most of us have had mc's.... we are all lovely really:A

....And hurry up you babies due! I'm lurking all the time waiting for them to arrive;)

  • I just read it, it was way harsh!!!! I know when I got my BFP I was nervous to come straight onto the PG thread so I stuck around there for a while first.

Ohhh CSH could you be having Dia woo woo then the baby????

But can't you see that people might have just had the shock of their lives by getting a bfp, had never even known that TTC thread existed beforehand and came looking for some reassurance. If that was me i wouldn't really think to come in here because you girls are testing all the time and a lot of the thread is discussing tests and BFP/BFN's whereas in here we tend to talk about poo and piles :p

If people are going to get a frosty reception for asking advice about tests (which from occasionally lurking in TTC you girls talk about a lot!), then you're limiting the thread to people who have only been keeping in with the chat and knew the thread existed before they got their result. Just because they haven't been posting doesn't mean they haven't been trying to conceive for months!

CSH - dia woo woo is a good sign. Though I had that (or something similar) last night and I'm still waiting. Hope it works for you though. Nothing from Squishy today? Hopefully she is now holding baby Squishy and will start a trend for the rest of us.

Yorky and Mrs T. We are very glad to have both of you join our thread. Welcome and huge congratulations. I wish every success to the both of you.

Novagirl, I split up with my ex before I found out about bubs and I'm managing just fine up til now. There are a couple of us single mums on here so you are in good company. It doesn't have to be that expensive if you know where to look, and this site is a major step in the right direction.

    Afternoon girls!

Guess what i heard today properly? :D The heartbeat :D

I mentioned to my doc that i couldn't find it on my doppler and it scared me, and he asked how far gone i was. Then got me to lay on the bed thing and he got out his doppler and found it straight away! :D

The heartbeat was so beautiful! Doc said it was around 140bpm, and i think it sounds like a train :)
As soon as he saw i was thinking that he said "dont think of any old wives tales" :rotfl:

Congrats to the newbies! I forgot who they are lol. I went on to the TTC thread to see what was happening (im very nosy hehe)
    and i was shocked!

That was very mean, OH even agree's. And we dont really discuss pregnancy tests here lol. We do actually talk about gross pregnancy things :D
Maybe the newbies had not seen our board?

OH says "To be honest, its not like they were rubbing it in were they, saying "haha im pregnant, your not, do one" they were sharing a bit of good news"

When i got my 2nd bfp after the mc, i felt like they would hate me on there as i only tried for 2 months after the mc. And then i was kind of stuck in limbo, what with not wanting to get to involved on here until 12 weeks, but not wanting to be posting on ttc to much incase i offeneded anyone by being pregnant. Which i did it turns out, thats when i came over here for good :D

Haha now im rambling :D Tell me to shut up :D

Did your first official new house shop today, was £64! but we did buy some tresemee (OH insisted on it lol) and a cutlery set that was £7 :D

I reckon so this time which is a shame but never mind. It's not the first time he's done it..
I work 3 full days a week at the moment which gives enough to pay all the bills etc so I'm sure we'll be ok...just no more treats for a while! :rotfl:

When are you due, i can't find u on the list!

What harley said! I'm on my own too, but the girls here are brill and let me rant and ramble about it/him on here and it is good to get it off my chest cos i don't like talking about it in RL.
