Evening girls and bumps,
welcome to all the newbies
I'm still here  Sorry I haven't had a chance to post today: my lovely hubby decided to take advantage of the gorgeous weather we had here today and took me out for the afternoon. :happyhear So, after an early lunch, we went to a really nice national trust type house and walked through the park (also saw a wedding party getting photos which was nice). Then took a drive along the coast where I was treated to fish and chips and mint chocolate icecream followed by a gorgeous walk along the beach. Then I fell asleep in the car on the way home :rotfl: A lovely day was had by all - bubs was kicking away.
So on we go! I wouldn't mind an october baby really (means we'd have the same birthstone!) and I know my mum is hoping she'll hang on until her birthday on the 4th which is a possibilityHowever, sometimes I do feel sooner rather than later would be nice...... depends on how I feel that day
As long as she stays happy in there (and doesn't make mummy have an induction!) we'll come to some sort of agreement
Lots of labour vibes to harley, csh (and me!)0 -
Hello all,
Sorry not had time to keep up with you all in the past few days. Can't believe it's been a week since I had Holly already! Time is flying by. She is a beautiful angel and clearly hasn't discovered the power of crying yet as she is so placid and calm. Long may it last.
Here are a couple of pictures for you (hope I have done this right!):
Love, labour vibes and congrats/welcomes where appropriate!

Hi everyone,
Congratulations and welcome to all the new ladies!
Beenie I know exactly what you mean my dd is 7 and it feels like I've totally never done this before! I still feel totally unprepared.
I've been getting a lot of strong period type pains this weekend which has been a bit scary really. I'm sure nothing could be starting as it's too early! Not regular pains anyway. Tummy keeps going rock hard again and getting up's become a right nightmare. So have been a little ray of sunshine lol!
I'm glad some of you girls have been saying your ages as i think I've got a bit hung up on mine recently (I'm 37) it's made me feel much better and that I'm not out of the ordinary - I guess it's because round here people tend to start off much earlier than I did. I have to admit though all this not being able to walk properly certainly makes me feel a bit decrepit!0 -
Thanks guys.
I have the worst tooth ache ever and I am already on a cocktail of drugs since leaving hospital so can't really take any more painkillers. And it's the holiday weekend here so dentist is not open until Tuesday. Bought some clove oil today, but it's not helping. Off to have a bath and then go to bed to see if sleep can blank out the pain! I miss chatting to you all!
Night, x0 -
Hope it's better soon Fitz that's rotten hope you can get to sleep - gorgeous pictures by the way she's beautiful. Goodnight x0

Fitz,
thank you for the pictures, Holly is truely gorgeous:A. Well done to you both.
Sorry to hear you're in pain, hopefully you got a good nights sleep and are feeling better for it.
Squishy,
Sorry to see that you are still here too, though it sounds like you are being a lot more patient about it than I am;). I am still loving being pregnant so I don't really mind her staying in there but I'm desperate to meet her, want the hard bit out of the way, and desperately want everyone to stop bugging me about 'is she here yet'.
Fidget,
Don't feel old, there are plenty older than us, though I agree its hard not to when you're hobbling around slower than an 80year old  And supposedly us older mums have more patience and life experience to share. (she says, completely ignoring the lack of energy and other problems that age brings). And at least you are on your second, so you have experience on your side too. I'm sure it'll all come flooding back to you when it needs to.:T
God, I really hope I get chance to do this again. I don't really want her to be an only child but my age and single status might work against me on that front.:o
