Now more commonly known by the name of Mummy Boo as she mummys every baby she comes across :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
  • Kinda they just kept putting the phone down on me horrible gits :rotfl:

You just reminded me i had an awful dream last night too :(
It was really quite bizarre the majority of it but the end result was my kids dad found me and kidnapped and tortured me and the kids

For those of you that dont know I left him as he was violent towards myself and the kids, did have an emergency injunction issued so he couldnt contact me or the kids but it ran out last week and they cant reissue it coz they cant find an address for him

The scariest part about it is i dont usually remember my dreams but when i do they usually come true :eek::eek:

Gonna have to be extra careful for the next few weeks now i think :o:(
  • Morning all hope everyone is well, Well i had my first success on free cycle, not for me or baby but for my mum. It is a chest that matches a bedroom unit that she has had for years and always said she wished she had bought the set. then the other night a post came up so i gave it a try and i got it:j:jnot seen it yet because they are away for the weekend but have fingers crossed he has not put the wrong name to the unit.

Sis has not improved either went down yesterday to see her with DD as she is missing her, they were so close when she was younger and mum said she was ok so we hoped DD would help her even more but when we got their she was a nightmare. so dad gave me money for a KFC and we went window shopping for the afternoon. Mum was very happy when we got back because we went to boots and bought her diabetic chocs etc so she was hiding them all over the place or my dad would eat them all :rotfl:

Had a hellish night with my neighbors last night to the point OH called the council noise department. He was all "we cannot have this with a baby in the house". I gave up and went to bed at 1.30 after more people arrived as i knew it would go on for hours.

Vibes out for the ladies in need.

  • Hi ladies, thanks for lovely welcome :j

Three2be, I totally sympathise with you - we've had the same thing on and off with our neighbours for the last 3 years.

They have got better recently, the really noisy inconsiderate ones have moved out (it's a shared house, they're Eastern European and there was 8 of them there at one point!) but they still have the odd all-nighter so we're now selling our house and moving into a rented house (a colleague of my OH owns it, it's in a nice area and we've been waiting for it to become available so we can get the hell out!!) because we can't face another Christmas/New Year with the usual round of parties lasting until 5am  I am honestly so sensitve to noise now, even if a car goes past our house with a loud stereo on it gets my back up!! Sorry for the rant.

Going for a roast dinner round my sis-in-laws today, OH's parents will be there too - they're off to NZ for 6 weeks tomorrow so we're going to break the baby news to them today! I'm dead excited about it, I know they'll all be thrilled. We're telling my parents/brother next weekend, as that's the soonest we're going to get to see them and I'd rather tell them face to face.

Our family meals are usually boozy affairs with plenty of wine flowing so this'll be a bit odd for me! OH is not drinking either (bless him!) so it won't be just me.

Have a good day all, and fingers crossed for those of you waiting for the magic to start! xx

    Afternoon lovelies :)

Welcome & congrats to the newbies :j

Lots of labour vibes for all in need, come on babies! :smileyhea
Elasti - my GTT is booked for the antenatal clinic and it says 'morning' been told to get there between 8.30 and 9, so maybe they just mean you're in the afty clinic - sure they can tell you what time to arrive if you give them a call?

I'm back online after a traumatic weekend - our littlest cat (she's almost 3, so not little at all!) went missing on Friday afternoon, I went into a blind panic and decided the dog at the back of us had eaten her and went a looked around their garden on Sat morning like a woman possessed!!! By yesterday night I'd given up all hope and OH was promising me a kitten whilst I blubbered about only wanting my cat back. Then I heard a really faint mewing which I thought was coming from under the floorboards, OH thought I was mental so I went under the kitchen units and pulled a couple of boards up (not easy when the whole floor's been laminated!), couldn't hear anything so figured I was doolally. Then OH heard it, put some ham down and out came her little paw :) She's managed to get down there and stuck somehow! So I'm now officially the happiest girl in the world, I'd all but said goodbye to her and am so so happy she's ok if a bit shell shocked.

Went to the carboot this morning to sell, mad £120 and bought a couple of bits - got a Lindam door bouncer for £1.50 and a M&P's Lottie rocker (I know - bit early!) for £5, it's gorgeous :) Good morning all in all and nice afternoon now sat on my bum with OH and my lovely cats :o

He He. It appears that there is something wrong with my mobile (think it has too many messages on it). Anyway I was celebrating that no-one bothered me yesterday with the 'is she here yet' and just discussing with mum how much nicer it was not being harrassed. Then 10 minutes ago the phone beeps. 27 texts since Friday night. All came through at once. Everyone thought I'd gone in and still they were texting. lol.

And the nice flirty chap even rang the hospital to see if I was there. Quite sweet but a bit odd for someone I don't know all that well.

Anyway I had a whole day and a half of peace and quiet and it was lovely. Now having to text them all to tell them I'm still here and still waiting.

Made my day though, not laughed so much in a while.

Hope you are all well, PP put your feet up for a bit, no point in stressing you or baby just for a bit of hoovering.

    xxxx

  • My god I am wrecked now, one of our spare rooms (the pink room) was full of boxes full of stuff since we moved in in April, and that needs to be cleared and the spare double bed we have putting up and computers moving into it (from the green room) as the green room is going to be the nursery

Anyway 3 and a half hours later! we are 90% done yay lol, there are just some boxes of books and dvds and make up etc that need a home.

Then pink room needs to be painted white (carpet is red) and we need to move stuff over from green room (where the computers currently are) then green room needs to be painted white (nursery, carpet is green) and we can start getting babybean stuff in (once we have some money lol)
