Not to sure, at my booking in she just sent off a request for my scan and said im having shared care with her and my doctor.
But at a recent docs appointment my doctor said even though its shared care, she is doing most of the work not him.
So i dont know when it is.
She sent me a letter with all my blood results saying everything is fine, and other than that i've had no contact with her.
I didn't even expect my 20week scan date to come through so quick, i thought they would leave it for a while. But i'll be 20+1 on the day.
I guess Portsmouth hospitals are trying to hurry things up what with all the bad press they keep getting lol x0 -
ah! Thanks, will hunt for that list!
Hiccups, I'd describe it as a low down popping sensation with a little jump of the baby (easier to feel the pop than the jump) and that they are much quicker (between hics) than adult hiccups cos baby doesn't have to breathe in between so they're maybe like once a second?
HTH
When Noogle gets hiccups they're a bit more spaced out than you're suggesting but I know they are hiccups because they are regular. Noogle gets them at least once a day - sometimes 3 times!
Lou - you should be able to get your HIPG from your midwife or docs, I got offered it at both.
Muso - I've had loads of bleeding - always best to get it checked out even if it stops although they like to see that you are actually bleeding. My hospital has a early pregnancy unit which is like a drop in scan unit but if you don't have one you can go to A&E or your docs and they should refer you.
Kindof - I've just been through my birth plan with the midwife at 36 weeks but it probably differs across the country. They wouldn't sign me up for the natural birth suite until 36 weeks to make sure that I had had a problem free pregnancy.
Nanc - I would ring the docs, have you taken your temp? Hope you get better soon.Mum to DD born Oct 2009

guess everyone's busy at work this morning! Week is dragging on, as usual. I have no love for work, so wish I could be time for ML...9 weeks to go at the end of this one, but that's definitely not soon enough!
Had a convo with my dad last night and had to set him straight...when my mom died (last month), we invited him to come stay with us for 3-4wks when the baby is born. Well turns out he got the impression that we wanted him there for the BIRTH and immediately after. Eek, with all the birth stories of leaking, bleeding, stitches, puking, etcetc. the last thing I want is to stress about someone else in my house!! We were envisioning him coming about 2 weeks after so we'd have time to get to grips with being new parents and bond with baby before another person came along. He seemed to understand, but I hope I didn't offend him! It's not that I mind him seeing baby immediately after birth, it's just I don't think I could deal with stress of him living with us during that transition period, y'know?
I totally hear u. Wow. I could have written that post myself!!! xxlove my little man he is amazing :j0 -
Yeah, helen, I remember you having issues with your father (I think??)...did you get that sorted out? I'm pretty sure my dad's okay with everything, I just felt really bad for basically having to say, "no we don't want you here at the birth!" as I'm far too nice a person.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

as I'm far too nice a person.
It was like that with my mum, she assumed she was going to be my birth partner, and i felt bad telling her she wasn't, as i didn't want to offend or upset her.
I told her, and turns out i did both and she didn't speak to me for a while. But its sorted now i thinkShe's now putting kisses at the end of texts hehe x

This one is funny, OH sleeps naked (sorry tmi) but if he's pi$sed off with me he wears underwear to bed. So whenever he's wearing his pants i always assume he's pi$sed off with me!!! :rotfl:0 -
s'ok EA, DH and I both sleep naked (I blame him for getting me into it) and I'm not looking forward to the time when I need to start wearing PJs in late preg due to leaky boobs, potential waters going, etc!! :eek:top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
