Oh i work in a SKY call centre. Our opening hours are 8:30am-11pm.

ooh thats handy to know - our new place is on a private road so can't have cable and have arranged for sky but not being installed until 24th or something, hows a pregnant lady to cope with only freeview for daytime telly?!!!! I have a feeling a hormonal rant might happen to try and bring it forward!!!

Can you not get Virgin Media? We couldn't get any freeview channels at all  Well we got BBC1 but it was ultra fuzzy

So we got virgin media, as we needed broadband and sky bb is poop :rotfl:

We don't live in cabled area and our bb is limited too - too flippin rural with trees and sheep in the way. I don't grumble too much though as it has lots of plusses in other areas.

I get them all the time and have done for the last few weeks - even every few minutes, sometimes lasting for a minute. I've had to learn to ignore them as they used to make me really excited :-(

awwww, shattered all my delusions about an on time - or even slightly early - arrival now! did find out our pct policy on induction is 10-12 days so latest he'll be here is 15th Dec (assuming I don't have a mammoth length labour, which reminds me RLT time!)

Where you by any chance given 2 different dates, one from LMP and one from your dating scan...........?

Freeview is rubbish for daytime tv, all you have is 'Doctors' and 'Jeremy Kyle'

We paid to have the V+ box so we could watch tv on demand as most of the programmes we watch are when we're not there, our V+ box looks like a VCR from the 1950's though! :rotfl:

I'd love it if someone baked me a cake, so go for it!

I'm off to get dressed and take myself out for a vanilla smoothie in local coffee shop, read papers for free etc. Catch up later. :D
  • Ooh Karen, I really thought you were going to have a punctual baby there! Glad all is well though and that you got home at last.

Always- I've been getting loads of tightenings too. It's a strange feeling but not painful so I don't really mind.

I've just ordered that BT150 that Elle linked to. It's such a good price and we've really struggled to find a monitor- plus a nursery thermometer was still on our to buy list so we got both in one with the BT one!
:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator :p

  • Morning everyone
Beenie - you must be tired today. I'm sorry you're having to deal with so depressing thoughts, those sort aren't fun at the best of times.
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
