I was kinda thinking of one to take bubs temp, I have a room one built into my monitor. But have the Hipp one too, gotta love a freebie :)

I didnt ignore the last knock and just apologised, but was still at work for the first, but OH just ignored them, his excuse, he was watching footie! I could have offered fruit but pretty sure that would have been turned down.

    Thanks Boo!!

3 - it won't be long til you get yours!!

Gill - think someone said I have TT microwave steriliser. I have got the electric steam one cos the microwave one was too big for my microwave!

I just had a bit of a panic as my microwave isn't that big but it does just fit! lol phew :rotfl:

Glad everyone seems much happier tonight.

We have had two lots of trick and treaters round so dh and I are scoffing all the sweets. I've discovered I love the new starburst (I'll always think of them as opal fruits!!) ones with the juice in the middle.

Ha Gill wish I had bought better goodies for the trick or treaters so that I could be scoffing them now too!!

Right Im off to bed to read a book I got from the library today (double mse!!), nite nite xx

  • Evening ladies. Just thought I'd pop on to say I'm here and ok! Not been on in a few days as just been really busy with cake work and then last night DH had the night off work, so for the first time in as long as I can remember we had a Friday night out together! Went for dinner which was lovely.

Anyway I'm shattered so off to sleep now (after I check EDD list for news!). Been round at a friend's and just got home. Will attempt some sort of catch up (tho possibly not everything at the rate you lot talk!!) tomorrow.

Night and hope everyone is well and Fidget is enjoying her mummy cuddles now! :)

Well I am home with no bubs. Apparently it was a build up of vaginal fluid that just comes out near the end of pregnancy and is hard to distinguish between waters trickling! they have to check and go on what they can see. So then they wanted to monitor babies heartrate and unfortunately jr didn't want to be a nice calm baby but active one and as such the heartrate was averaging 170-190+bpm so they wouldn't let us leave until it was normal between 140-160 (something like that anyway) after ages were it wasn't calming down they told us to go out for a walk and come back in a while. When we got back DH then tried to relax me to try and get Jr to relax. it seemed to work as it was way lower (until just before the MW came back to check) so they let us go home cause it was a lot lower. DH said it was the most boring game trying to keep Jr heart rate under 170 to stop the buzzerr going offf :D lol

Overall we were in four hours!

So fingers crossed that maybe labour will start soon. At least we have now seen some of the delivery suite and will know were to go next time.

Plus Helen would have been annoyed at me if I queue jumped - so I didn't dare ;)
Tegan Lily arrived 4 November 2009 (3 days late)

Bleurgh, woke up over an hour ago feeling dehydrated, most likely cos of the Domino's i had earlier! But i feel soooooooooo bloated and can't get back to sleep.

Doesn't help that brain is working overtime. Me and the ex had been invited to a wedding reception which was tonight and he'd said he didn't want to go, but he's gone without me, and i'm almost certain with another woman. Which makes me wonder why he didn't want to go with me?? He'd said it was because he didn't see this relative of his very much but clearly it was me that was the issue since he's gone anyway. Pretty certain he's taken his ex. So no doubt they're in bed as i type this!!!!

Oh god, sorry they kept you there for hours, but at least you know it wasn't the waters and can be stress free that baby is fine and comfortable in there.....
Sending labour vibes your way for today:)

I have been up most of the night, dh woke me up at about 2am for some  (he said he thought I was already awake!!) anyway I just couldn't seem to get back to sleep, then the baby kept waking up every hour or less so I had to keep hopping in and out of bed to give him his dummy:rolleyes: I am shattered now.

It is absolutely pouring down here  I had wanted to go out and take the dog and the kids to the park today too....

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.
  • Reading this thread really makes me realise I have hardly any hope of baby coming early, has anyone else noticed that most babies seem to go overdue?!

Tipping down with rain here too :-( Never mind, suppose we should expect it, it is November.

    Morning :D

Am at work again, i am so tired. Kept getting up all night as i was feeling dehydrated, then as i was drinking so much i was waking up for the toilet all night

We were late for work as the buses didn't even start running until 8:20am this morning and work started at 8:30am :o

Im wondering whether i should ask work for another water bottle seeing as i lost mine and im really thirsty again :(

Labour vibes for those in need!! :D
