    Karen,
Sorry about your false alarm but at least you don't have to worry about losing waters & being unsure. I bet you must be shattered today after that 4 hour sess in the hospital. Good luck today as today is your day after all.

Reading this thread really makes me realise I have hardly any hope of baby coming early, has anyone else noticed that most babies seem to go overdue?!

Tipping down with rain here too :-( Never mind, suppose we should expect it, it is November.

Yes, one overdue mamma in waiting here today (due 28 Oct). But, you never know in your case so don't loose heart. Absolutely peeing it down here too but at least it is pretty in the lakes.

    Morning :D

Am at work again, i am so tired. Kept getting up all night as i was feeling dehydrated, then as i was drinking so much i was waking up for the toilet all night

We were late for work as the buses didn't even start running until 8:20am this morning and work started at 8:30am :o

Im wondering whether i should ask work for another water bottle seeing as i lost mine and im really thirsty again :(

Labour vibes for those in need!! :D

What do you do that takes you into work so early on a Sun?

grey wet windy horrible day here in Sutton too, sounds like it is everywhere! OH still snoozing and suspect he'll wake with an ale induced headache when he does!

have been having loads really noticeable tightenings the last few days - guess must be braxton hicks - coupled with the little man's tendency for squirming all hours, not been very comfortable especially at night. But does mean it's all nearly over and soon I will be a mummy, 33 days if he arrives on time :D . Can't believe how quickly these last few weeks have gone, especially since being off work!

I get them all the time and have done for the last few weeks - even every few minutes, sometimes lasting for a minute. I've had to learn to ignore them as they used to make me really excited :-(

Thanks. Wish we could get Sky, too many trees surrounding our house apparently - would have made for a more enjoyable wait have millions of channels to flick through as opposed to the freeview crap reception we also get (about 10 channels!)

I was counting my BH last night for the first time, 40 secs every 9-12 mins, so nothing to get excited about. It's hard not knowing what to expect with it being first (and only) child - you constantly wonder if things are about to start without any of the traditional signs - shows etc

Can you not get Virgin Media? We couldn't get any freeview channels at all  Well we got BBC1 but it was ultra fuzzy

So we got virgin media, as we needed broadband and sky bb is poop :rotfl:
