  • Hi, just popping in briefly.
PP - so pleased to hear that baby is still in place, and I'm sending stay put vibes.
Helen and anyone else who needs 'em, here's some labour vibes.
Feeling brighter today so I've just been with DH, DD and MIL to a fireworks display - it was fab!
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

Evening all :D Have cheered up muchly since this morning :D Fur ball is now sporting a fetching nappy type affair made from an old t shirt and attached using his harness, so far so good and all going well I can get a better nights sleep :D

Can't remember who was talking about travel cots but they are really all the same comfort wise. What you get for you extra money is things like a basinette, change unit or maybe a nicer pattern or some mobile/music/light type thing. IMO I'd just go for a cheapie, I have and MIL has too, altho have invested in the extra matresses which can unfortunately cost as much as the travel cot. Who ever posted the links for there TC and matress earlier, they look good to me :D

Am sure my lil ladies kicks are getting stronger by the day, am certainly more aware of them.

Just munched a tres yummy abbrosia custard apple crumble thing :D Highly recommend them, and on offer at Mr Ts atm :D Maltesers are on the schedule next hehe.

We got 2 knocks on the door, oh well I supose I'll just have to eat some of the leftover chocs!!
I am currently tucked up in bed reading a book for uni, need to have it read by Tuesday but it is a bit boring actually so I keep falling asleep... I need to go back down shortly to wash and make bottles!

Hooray for last day at work.. I have loved my maternity leave last time round but will miss out this time... Baby will be born within a couple of weeks of breaking up for summer hold and will be, maybe, 3/4mths old when I have to go back..

Aww Som glad to hear your doggie is doing better. Poor thing!

boogelly - congrats on your last day, yay!!

karen - ooo, hope things are moving along for you hon. Good luck at the hospital. Sending big labour vibes to Helen, too!!

kindof - generally the group of MWs you are assigned will have 1 person on call at all times, I think. So Sundays are fine since obviously babies don't know the difference! I have to say that at the beginning the kicking is real sporadic and that's why they don't even tell you to do kick counts until after like 26 weeks I think...and even then it's only 10 in 12 hours. Even after I started feeling first movements it was still a few weeks before they became remotely regular...and still quite a while before DH could feel them! (can't remember who was asking about this)

Talking of trick or treaters this is a our fith haloween in this house and every year have bought stuff only to never have a single knock, guess what ? Yup we had 2 knocks tonight and I didnt have anything in...eek!

Think I have finally found the chime necklace I want, seems there actually called Mexican Bolas. Want peeps opinions tho, this is it, am I being daft?

So next Q what theremometers if any has anyone got or going for? I'm really confused by them as they vary so much in price.

Wonder how Karen is getting on, how exciting!! Vibes to Helen too!!

Lol thats typical about the trick or treaters Som, did u pretend u were out? :D

I dont have a thermometer, well, Ive only got the free piece of card one that came with the HIPP pack I think. I kinda figured we would just know if the house is too hot or cold, but if not I will get one once baby is here I think. HTH!!

    xx
