Morning,
Really cute little suit Kindof
We've not got an outfit for coming home..though we did buy him a little fleece 'cuddlesuit' from Asda, which we'll use if it's cold enough.
Glad your sis had a better day Three, lovely that she was asking after bump
Weather here is yuck, the sky is totally white & the pavement's wet, bleurgh. Heatings on to try and dry the washing though so I am boiling!
Lots of labour vibes for Helen today, xx
Had a lovely moment with my bigger cat this morning, she's got a problem with one of her legs, keeps cramping up (or so the vet says - nothing they can do apparently), and she's been a bit of a mardy thing for a couple of weeks. Well, this morning she got on the bed and laid right on 'bump' and was purring away, bubs started kicking herBless her, she's such a soppy thing in equal measure to being a mardy thing! Cheered me right up anyway, think I've snapped out of my mood now, OH will be saying thank god for that!!!
Family friend is popping in today with her two young boys, and lots of baby thingsV excited for that!
Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
Morning ladies, ive made it into work as its my second to last day and only because my boss is buying us all KFC for dinner! I'm so tired though, I can't remember the last time I slept for more than an hour at a time as my hips hurt too much. Elasti I'm the same and turning over in beds a nightmare, I look like a truck doing a 350 point turn in the road!
Kindof glad you got the little bear outfit, its so cute isn't it? I can't wait to bring belly monkey home in hers. (in possibly 2 weeks time!)
32B glad your sisters doing better, lots of positive vibes her way.
Best go back to lurking as boss will kill me if he finds me on here!Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -
Morning everyone, hope you and your bumps are all ok.
As I'm signed off till Monday, I'm at home again and starting to fret about what I'll do when the forum goes down - hopefully that'll be the kick up the jacksy I need to get ebaying!Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

As already said, first babies do engage earlier... They need to start stretching their escape route haha... With ds3 he still wasn't engaged in Week 39 the midwife was telling me to get bouncing on a birth ball to encourage himdown!
I think this baby will just fall out!!!
Yeah, only your 1st baby will engage early and once it has,it tends to be fixed in, like it's been said babies you have after that don't usually start to engage untill later on,just before labour or not untill labour actually starts and they can pop in and out of engagement when they fancy!
AT my 40 week appointment on Wednesday I was 4/5ths engaged.love my little man he is amazing :j0 -

Yeh that sounds like it Elasti!! Lol that made me chuckle about turning over in bed, thats exactly what I look like too!!
Morning all!! Just catching up before I do a dog walk and then have my midwife appt later this morning so I hope to find out if Im engaged at all. Be back soon!! xxBaby Toby born 17th Nov 09 :j0 -
Morning all!
Not sure about a going home outfit, TBH, as it will be cold and won't they just be wrapped up in a million blankets? Don't really see the point as baby will be going from hospital to car then from car to house and no one will see it! Sometimes I'm wayyy too practical for my own good, lol.
It's weird, I've been worrying about baby being warm enough being born in winter (getting enough blankets, cardis, etc.) but all day yesterday I was reading up on not getting baby too *hot*. Agh, there's just too much to think about, I swear! Our bedroom is quite draughty so striking that balance is going to do my head in, I think.
Beenie/lou/elasti, are you having appts every 2 wks or every 4 by now? My mat notes say I'm supposed to have them every 2 by now, but they're scheduled for every 4! I know I'm being silly, but I'm really dying to know bubs' positioning as I think it keeps swapping from head down to transverse on random days and really hoping it doesn't settle in transverse!
Can't wait for my HiPG (still going to be a while it looks like) to be paid as so far I've only bought 'practical' baby clothes but I really want to grab some cute, pure indulgence pieces to satisfy myself!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!
